Pet Prayer Requests

It is so wonderful to be able to have a place to go where you can request prayer for your pet!  By all means, send your people requests too!  Also, if you are grieving the loss of a beloved animal companion, we will pray for you.

You can send prayer requests to Niki Behrikis Shanahan at the following email address.  Please indicate the pet's name, type of pet, and what the ailment is so that we may be specific in our prayers.  Our prayer team will begin praying for you right away!  Please keep us posted on the status of your animal companion's situation.

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick.  James 5:15

We recommend Animal Prayer Guide so that you will understand the Scriptures pertaining to prayer, faith, and the promises of God. Spiritual knowledge translates into physical blessings when we activate the Word of God. By studying the Bible Scriptures you will increase your knowledge of God, and learn how prayer and healing can work for you and your animal companion. We are always happy to pray for your pet, but we need to learn how to call on God for help 24/7. To purchase Animal Prayer Guide, click on the graphic below.

Answered Prayers/Testimonials

We would like to share these answers to prayer to encourage you that there is nothing too small or too great for God to do.  If you would like your answered prayer to appear on this list, please be sure to email us with an update.  Please note that the prayer requests are not necessarily listed in order of date.  I have a backlog of answered prayers (Praise God!) and I try to get them posted, but not always according to date.

Prayer Request:  November 2, 2013

Please pray for my 5 year old Pitbull Ava. She has paralysis of her layrnax and surgery to tie it back for better breathing. We are 3 months post surgery and she is rapid breathing again.  We are visiting the vet today.  Please pray for her healing. Thank you.  Jeanette

Prayer Answered:  November 24, 2013

We were to the vet a few more times because of Ava and her respiratory issues. But the doc said....Nothing comes back with X-rays so I believe that's the best she's going to breathe. Well.... That's unacceptable to me! Jesus heals! So after much prayer the Lord revealed to me that it was an allergic reaction to her meds. I contacted the vet told him this news, we changed and evaluated her meds and praise god she's great now! Thank you so much for your prayers!  Blessings, Jeanette

Prayer Request:  September 1, 2013

I've been taking care of my sister's family's dog, Yoda, the sweetest little Chihuahua.  He has a collapsing trachea, and has been coughing a lot this week.  I pray that God will do a miracle or show me how to find the right care for him this week.  He was getting better but had a setback today.  He's lost a pound which is good, but has a couple more to go.
He's sleeping peacefully right now for which I am very thankful.  Thank you!  Pam

Prayer Answered:  January 3, 2014

I thank you for praying for my sister's family's Chihuahua mix dog, Yoda, a few months ago.  He healed up beautifully, and is such a happy little pooch!  Thank you so much!  Pam

Prayer Request:  January 4, 2014

I am a little worried about a lump on my cat, Sissy. It is in the area I always injected the needle in for the fluids for kidney treatment.  I trade off sides for the injection, but am concerned that it may be caused by the needle.  I know God is watching over her as I told Him today, and has blessed her with these 9 years since we first met in the cat lounging yard at the shelter, and also these past 3 years with her kidney situation.  Thanks, Richard

Answered Prayer:  January 25, 2014

Praise Jesus for Sissy.  This morning she climbed in bed with me and I was checking for the lump which I told you about, and showed the doctor which was about the size of my thumb, well it it gone!!!!!!!! I thought I missed it and was in the wrong place, but checked again and it was gone.  Boy! I just yelled out and was praising God, it is not there.   Richard

Prayer Request:  March 10, 2014

My cat, Polly, is having her teeth cleaned on March 13.  Please pray for her. Thanks, Wanzie.

Prayer Answered:  March 13, 2014

Praise the Lord Polly came through her teeth cleaning surgery very well.  Thank you, Wanzie.

Prayer Request:  February 28, 2014

Please pray for Mickey’s healing.  He has been going into the litter box frequently the last couple of days and urinating small amounts.  We are taking him to the vets as it looks like a urinary tract issue.  Thanks, Niki

Prayer Answered:  March 4, 2014

Testing at the vet resulted in no bacteria, no crystals, no white blood cells.  There were red blood cells indicating inflammation syndrome.  His kidney function was very good with clear urine.  Mickey was diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC).  It’s feline lower urinary tract disease.  Although the only symptom was frequent urination and inflammation, the vet thinks Mickey should be on a urinary formula food for life as this may reoccur.  Glory to God we caught it early.  He has been eating the Royal Canin SO brand, and thank the Lord he likes it.  Praise God he has had no further issues or problems.  Niki

Prayer Request: March 10, 2013

Please pray for my cat Max, who has breathing problems, due to asthma.,  He was at the vet for 3 days on oxygen.  We just got him home yesterday and he is having trouble breathing again.

thank you, Diane

Prayer Answered:  March 16, 2013

Dear Niki, Max is doing well, breathing normal!  Praise the Lord! Thank you for your prayers!  God bless you!    Diane

Prayer Request:  February 15, 2013

My cat, Sunny has escaped from his outdoor enclosure.  He is too skittish to come close to me.  I've set a humane trap with no luck yet.  I'm sending a request to pray for his safe return to home.  Thank you, Linda

Prayer Answered:  February 23, 2013

Thank you for your prayers...Sunny has returned home and is reunited with his brother.  Thank you! Linda

Prayer Request:  January 8, 2013

I stumbled across this website while searching for some guidance. Our oldest cat, Ginger, didn't come home Sunday night. It's not like her to stay gone more than a day. We have all cried, searched, put out fliers, contacted shelters and vets, and of course, prayed. We feel so empty without our big orange fluffy cat. If you could, please join us in prayer for her safe return. Thank you!   Britney

Prayer Answered:  January 13, 2013

Here's another testimony for your site! Yesterday (1/12) we made a last ditch effort to search for our Ginger. We decided to pass out more flyers and offer a reward. After our first round, we ran out of flyers and were going to head home. But I told my husband I thought we should make some more and continue. So we did, and as we were on our 3rd Street, I got a call from a lady who got one of my last flyers. She said she heard some animal crying under her house last night and wondered if we wanted to come look. We rushed back, and with flash light in hand, my husband searched under her house. Sure enough, it was a cat - but was it Ginger? Surely not, since they said their crawl space hasn't been opened since Sunday afternoon! Yes, it was a very scared, dirty, and hungry Ginger! She was only a couple houses down from us - just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time! We wondered how she survived a full week of no water. Then I remembered: the rain. It has poured rain all week and I cried to God to make it stop so "Ginger would come home." But God is awesome, because the downpour created puddles under their house which provided Ginger with water. We give all praise to God for this! Thank you for praying with us! We are so glad for our happy ending!   Britney

Prayer Request:  October 20, 2013

Please pray for my dog, Jack.  He went missing today 10/28/2013 at 9:00am and we have not seen him since.  We have searched for him have not had any success.  I ask for his safe return home.  Dan

Prayer Answered: October 28, 2013

We found him at 6:30am this morning.  I believe it was nothing short of divinely guide. God Bless, Dan.

Prayer Request: October 6, 2013

Please pray for my dog.  He's a pitbull named Cooper.  He has difficulty in urinating.  We would love to take him to the vet, but my family is in a financial crisis right now and we can't afford to take him in.  All we can do is to treat him with all the natural resources and our love.  He's already 1 year old and we would love him to be our companion for a very long time.  Please do pray for him, and we thank you for the time and prayers.  Aika

Prayer Answered:  October 7, 2013

Thank you for praying for our dog.  We called the vet and he told us that he has a bacterial infection which causes his difficulty in urinating.  He also suggested to us that he needs to have an iv and anti bacterial medications.  Cooper is in our home with an iv and antibiotics.  We can't afford an overnight stay at the vet, but at least we got him his medications.  Thankfully the vet is very understanding of our situation.  Thank you again for your prayers and please do continue.  God bless you! Aika

Prayer Request:  September 15, 2013

I would like you to pray for my Dog, Malachi.  He is a Chihuahua.  He is 4/5 months old, today (9-15-2013).  My niece was playing on a chair and tipped it over and it fell on him. I think it smashed more of his lower half of his body, but he can still walk.  He vomited blood once and his poop was a lot softer.  He has just been laying around I didn’t have the money to take him to the vet E.R.  So I’m waiting to take him to the vet and am praying everything is ok with him.  Thank you for praying with me.  Laura

Prayer Answered:  September 19, 2013

I would like you to know that my dog is fine.  He only threw up blood that once, and the next day he was eating and drinking fine.  The day after that he was running all over the place with no pain.  Thank you for your prayers.  Laura

Prayer Request:  August 25, 2013

On Wednesday, August 21st our apartment in Harbour Main was broken into and then they tried to burn it down.  The young boy that did this is very mentally sick.  Our apartment was chosen at random, mainly because we are back in the woods where no one can see.  The house along with everything is destroyed.  However, to make the situation worse our dog, Harley, went missing.  Before leaving for work I put Harley in his kennel and told him I would not be long. Not knowing what the next hour and a half would hold. Harley was set free and fled from the house.  He was spotted the day this all happened but that was it.  He is not an outdoor dog.  He followed us everywhere we went.  Harley is an 11lb yorkie with a docked tail.  He is micro chipped. He was our life and still is. I am not worried about the material things we lost...we just want our dog back.  I have been praying for him since he left.  I believe in God and that he will help Harley come home.  Can you please say a prayer for Harley and for us.  We miss him very much.  Thank you, Casey.

Prayer Answered: August 26, 2013

This has been the happiest day of our life.  Harley was found this afternoon.  Our prayers were answered.  I couldn't thank you enough.  I will keep praying for all lost animals.  In a few days, he'll be back to normal running around and barking.   Thank you, Casey.

Prayer Request: September 3, 2013

I am so grateful to the Lord that I understood from your book ahead of time that Heaven is real for our pets as well as born-again Christians.  Could you please pray as we are also praying that Jesus heals our nine year old rescue greyhound, Lucy, from cancer. Thanks, Deborah

Prayer Answered:  October 6, 2013

I wanted to update you on our beloved Lucy.  Since writing you just about a month ago when she was diagnosed by the vet after tests with cancer and when she was skeletally thin, Lucy has actually gained some weight.  While still much thinner than our other greyhound she is no longer skeletally thin but has softer and more comfortable lines to her body.

She is perkier, too, and trots across the room when treats are in store

I have no way to explain this other than that Jesus is answering our prayers.  I no longer ask Him to take the cancer away, but thank Him for having done it.

I have no clue in the natural as to what is happening.  I have no explanation for her better appearance and mood (she has not been on any medication) other than that our prayers are being answered.

I will keep you posted and in the meantime, PRAISE THE LORD!!!  Deborah

Prayer Request:  October 4, 2013

Our 3 year old indoor cat "Loki" ran outside last night at 10 PM.   He has not been seen since.   We have called him, looked for him, put up fliers, canvassed the neighborhood & listed him on Craigslist, all to no avail.   Please join our family and friends in praying for his safe return home.  Thanks so much for your prayers!  Lela

Prayer Answered:  October 4, 2013

Thanks so much for your prayers for Loki!  At 1:00 PM PDT we found Loki safe in the yard of a house next door!  God is so good!  We know that prayer changes things.  We’re encouraged by the many answered pet prayers on your pages.  It’s a true testament of God's faithfulness to all His creatures and their families.  I was so encouraged reading the testimonials on your pages, that I continued my prayers & cried out to GOD with a renewed strength.  Thanks for all you do to help these little ones find their way back to their families!  Now you can add Loki's story to the answered prayers list!  God bless you!   Lela

This is a special miracle and amazing answer to prayer that took place recently.  Terry wrote this and sent it to me.  I know you will be blessed to hear this special testimony.

Hi Niki,

Last week I wrote to you and asked for some prayers for my dog Oliver and a Miracle happened:

Here is what I posted on my Facebook page:

An almost Tragic story turns into a Miracle.

On Thursday October 24, 2013 around 5:50 A.M. my wife woke up and let our dog Oliver outside to do his business as she stood at the  back door to watch him as he walked around in our backyard. The outer back part of our backyard is dark and hard to see at night. As Nida watched Oliver walking around the yard my other dog came to the backdoor and the coffee maker went off at the same time distracting her attention from observing our dog  Oliver. When Nida looked again Oliver had completely disappeared from sight and she walked to the backyard to see where he had gone. Oliver was nowhere to be found. When she walked to the edge of the pool Oliver was laying at the bottom of our pool motionless. Nida immediately yelled and jumped into the water and pulled Oliver's motionless body from the cold water. When I initially heard Nida scream I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to see my dog laying on the side of our pool clinically dead. My first instincts were to immediately administer CPR, but Oliver was not responding. We took Oliver and ran into our living room, turned on the fireplace and I again continued giving Oliver CPR.

Time was against us, but I continued to give our dog CPR for over 30 minutes and a miracle happened, he began to breathe and had a slight pulse. We dried him off and rushed him to the Pet Emergency Hospital on Veterans. His temperature was so low that it was not register able, but slowly over the next hour his temperature began to rise and his vital signs began to improve. Miraculously after 24 hours Oliver is back at home with us and our family and we wanted to share this story to all our Facebook friends.

I am so grateful to have saved my best friends life....  Terry

These two are older, but I’m catching up on posting the requests, and didn’t want you to miss out on them.

Prayer Request: August 8, 2012

We are so in need for our family’s cat, George, who is 8 years old. Since I wrote you just a few moments ago, they have reinserted the catheter and drained his bladder again. The issue is if he will be able to pee on his own when they remove the catheter. I f not, they want to put him to sleep. There is one surgery that will actually take away his male parts so that the narrow urethra will be eliminated, however if its narrow all the way up that may not be a viable option and they don't know if he can sustain surgery,.. Please your prayers are so desperately wanted and needed. Please help ... Thank you so much.  Denise

Prayer Answered:  August 14, 2012

I just want to say "thank you" to you, and everyone who have prayed for Georgie, he had to have the surgery but is making a wonderful recovery and his prognosis for the future is excellent.  I thank everyone, as I know your prayers made this happen... Denise

Prayer Request: July 6, 2012

Our dogs, Poncho, a great dane boxer mix (13 yrs old, deaf male) and Maybel, Australian Shepherd Doberman mix (12 yr old female) escaped our fence here in AL this morning at 6 am.  We have searched EVERYWHERE, contacted EVERYONE and there has been no sightings. We have just come in from looking 14 hours later.  I ask for you to pray for their safety and if God permits, a safe return to us.  They are our beloved family member and our hearts break.  Our two little boys are on vacation and are going to be devastated when they return.  I ask that God's will be done....I ask for prayer. Tiffany

Prayer Answered:  July 9, 2012

I just wanted to update you and let you know that all the prayers worked!  Poncho and Maybel are HOME!  I got the call, get this, while I was sitting in my Sunday School class yesterday!  A neighbor had seen our signs and noticed Poncho and Maybel standing by her pool drinking out of it!  My husband had stayed home from church to search while I took our boys so he went to pick them up!   When we got home it was SO good to hug their necks!  They were very dirty, tired and sore but they are home, safely!  Thanks to all our prayers warriors!   I have told another girl, that has also lost her dog, about your website, I hope that she will check it out!  Thank you for everything!! Thank you so much! Tiffany

Please pray for Lexi, a four year old Terrier (Dog).  She is going in to have a tumor removed tomorrow that the doctor only gave her a 50% chance of being non-cancerous. Please pray for this sweet little dog to go through this surgery and be CANCER FREE.    Thank You, Cheryl

Prayer Answered:  July 3, 2013

I just wanted to take a moment to send you an email and THANK YOU for the prayers for Lexie….. She got a clean bill of health, and is CANCER FREE!!!  Thank you for your support.  The power of prayer is amazing!   Cheryl

I'd like to request prayers for my dog, Iced Tea.  He has a low platelet count and has been at the vet's office for 2 days now.  He is a beloved pet of the entire family, and we'd like him to be home healthy.  Thank you!  Gloria

Please say a prayer for my dog named Claudia she has a wart that has changed a lot so they took some fluid out with a needle to check it out.  She is 12 so we are worried about her.  Other than that she really does good for an older girl.  Please pray for her, we have all been through so much together.  Thank you very much...not ready to even think about losing her.  Annette

Prayer Answered:  April 16, 2013

I asked you to pray for my dog Claudia, and our prayers were answered.  It came back a badly infected cyst and not cancer.   I want to thank you for your prayers, ours were answered thanks so much.  God Bless you.  Annette

Prayer Request:  April 23, 2013

Our beloved dachshund, Fred, has a dislocated shoulder. The vet has his arm in a sling that does not allow him to use it at all.  He is on pain meds but is so uncomfortable. We are requesting prayer for a complete healing.  It is so horrible to see him in this much pain. He is our little man and we love him so much! Fred is 9 years old and absolutely one of the sweetest dogs in the world.  I have been praying non-stop for his healing, but I do know power is in numbers. Thank you so very much.  Donna

Prayer Answered:  April 26, 2013

Thank you so much for the prayers!  Fred went back to the doc today and they took his sling off ... So far so good :) Doc said for him to take it real slow and easy for the next few weeks . I am claiming a complete healing for our little man!  Again thank you so much!  So good to know there are people that care and pray for their pets and love them like we do!  God bless you and your ministry!   Donna

Please pray for my young indoor male cat who escaped today. Please pray for his safety and he return home soon.  Vandana

 Prayer Answered:  August 20, 2012

Thank you so much for your prayers. Our cat returned in our compound at midnight and we caught him safely.  He was very hungry as he was away for 12 hours.  It is a miracle because there are lots of stray dogs and some cats here (India).  I wish my parents would allow me to built a large enclosure for my 7 cats.  Once again thank you very, very much. May God continue to help you as you help His creation.   Vandana

Prayer Request:  March 31, 2013

Please pray that our dog Chihuahua named Cholo will be found soon.  He got out of our fence earlier around 7pm today and ran away.  We pray that he'll be reunited with us soon.  Thank you.   Arlene

Prayer Answered: April 1,  2013

Just to let u know that our missing Chihuahua dog "Cholo" is finally  home with us.  I don't how he survived the cold last night but  definitely God sent his angels to protect and warm Cholo throughout  the night.   We found him 10 houses away from our house at the  neighbor's parking lot under a chair.  A guy walking his dog told me so, they're both God's good shepherds.   Thank you so much for you prayers.  God bless you all.  Happy Easter!  Arlene

Prayer Request:  July 9, 2012

My 2 year old shihtzu, Mr. Pip has been in the hospital with pneumonia for three days. He is gravely ill and we don't know if he will live. He is my best buddy and life would not be worth living without him. Please pray that God heals him and makes him whole again. Thank you so very much. Tammy

Prayer Answered: August 16, 2012

Thank you so very much for your prayers!  Obviously they worked because Mr. Pip is much better and is now home!  He turned the corner starting the day after you began praying for him. The doctors can't quite explain his sudden turn around since dogs don't usually respond so quickly to antibiotics. To quote one doctor, "he's kind of a mystery".  I know that it's no mystery at all but rather God's healing hands and love. I am so grateful to have found you and will be praying for others on your site. I also downloaded both "Praying for Animals" and "Rainbow Bridge" and have been greatly comforted in reading both of them.  Thank you with all of my heart,  Tammy

Prayer Request:  July 9, 2012

Please pray for my senior shepherd Blade. He has neurological disease called degenerative myelopathy. The progression has become worse. And now he has GI issue and a urinary tract infection. He is 13 years 7 months. And is my everything. If he can't be healed please pray for me to have the strength I need to send him "home" Anna out of this constant suffering. It is tearing me to pieces to watch this. And I am making myself sick with worry. I pray daily.   Thank you so much for praying for Blade and I.  Respectfully, Gwen

Prayer Answered: July 20, 2012

Hello Animal prayer team/Niki and others I am writing to tell you your  prayers have worked for my beloved Blade. His GI has cleared up,  UTI/bladder infection and he is feeling himself again for a dog with a  degenerative disease similar to primary progressive multiple  sclerosis. I know it was the miracles of the good Lord above that has  taken care of my boy, Blade and myself. I can't thank you enough. If  only he could regain use of his hind legs and not be paralyzed again.  But we have complete abilities to care for him.  Gwen

Prayer Request:  June 5, 2012

Please pray for our cat, Lily.  She is a Himalayan cat... she is an incredible loving and affectionate part of our family.  We took her to the vet today and they believe that she has a malignant tumor on her breast.  She will have surgery next Thursday and we will find out whether or not it is malignant or benign.  The odds are not in her favor, but I know that miracles happen and I hope it does to our sweet Lily.    Liz

Prayer Answered: June 20, 2012

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for praying for Lily, she came through the surgery just fine, and I received a call last week from the vet, I had prepared myself for it to be bad news, as 93% of the time such tumors are malignant.  By the grace of God and prayers, it was benign! The vet himself couldn't even contain his disbelief that it was benign! Thank you so much for your prayers, they certainly worked!  Liz

Prayer Request:  July 28, 2012

Would you please join us in prayer for our cat Nelson.  He went missing while we were on holiday.  He was being looked after by a pet care company. They tell us that he hasn’t been seen since Tuesday.  He is a much loved pet, our two daughters are distraught. Thank you & God bless. Pat

Prayer Answered: August 10, 2012

Just a line to let you know that Nelson was found in a neighbour’s garden on Tuesday evening.  He has a bit of a cold and a long story to tell of his two week adventure away from home.  Thank you so much for holding him up in prayer.  I will continue to pray for your ministry.  Many blessings and thanks again for all you do in His name. .  Pat

Prayer Answered: April 20, 2011

A few weeks ago I asked for prayer for my 2 cats Dexter and Chance.  Max my 12 year old, had passed suddenly and was found to have aids.  You prayed with me for total health, and I am happy to report that after tests, both Dexter and Chance are 100% healthy. Thanks for your prayers, as we know God cares for all His creatures.

God bless, Larry

Prayer Request:  June 27, 2012

My dachshund, "Little Bit" is in need of prayer.  This evening she started dragging her back legs and has had stomach problems.  We have raised 5 dachshunds, and I have done a lot of research about their sad history of back problems while living in fear that this could happen to one of my babies.  This little girl was the runt of her litter, and she is very special to me.  She is so fiesty despite her size, so it is killing me to think that she is in pain and serious trouble.  Please pray for her.  This has been a completely sleepless night for me, and I will be taking her to the vet in the morning.  Tammy

Prayer Answered: June 27, 2012

I just wanted to thank you for the prayers! I just brought Little Bit home from the vet, and she is running around :-) her back checked out fine.  The vet said it was probably some kind of viral infection...I think it was God answering our prayers because she wouldn't move her back legs last night and was dragging herself around. Now, she is running and happy to be home!   Thank you and God bless you!!  Tammy

Prayer Request: 5/12/12

Our family cat Tigra, who is 2, has been missing outside for a week now. We live at a dead end with nothing but woods at the end. She's never been gone for this long and we're all starting to worry; even her sister, our dog Zoee. Please pray for a safe and fast return home. We're all just worried sick.  Thank you and God bless!  Gretchen

Prayer Answered: 5/14/12

Thank you SO much for your prayers and praise God! Our Tigra has come home after 9 days!! It's a definite miracle she was carried home in His arms. Our weather has been rainy for days and she was completely dry; her little paws weren't even wet! Thank you again for praying!  Gretchen

God blessed me with this beautiful dog I hope she is safe and returns to me soon. Thank you . Bridget

Prayer Answered: 4/18/11

Dear Niki my name is Bridget.  I asked for prayers for my dog Laska who had been missing since early February.  Well I got a phone call last night telling me my beautiful dog was found almost 30km from home.  I just wanted to thank you soooooo much for your support and prayers.  Dearest God and His Angels returned her to me safe and sound.  It is so true God will never let you down.  Just have faith.  Love and many blessing to you all.   Bridget

Sorry that this answered prayer is an older one, but it got lost in my files and wanted to share it with you.

Prayer Request: 6/30/10

Would you please put my cat, Jasper, on the prayer list?  He is a big, beautiful 13 year old tabby and was just diagnosed with diabetes.  Please pray that the diet regiment will bring his sugar level down and for his healing.  He is so precious to me, as you can well understand.  I have read a couple of your books and appreciate very much your work and ministry and words of encouragement.  Our God can do anything!  With thanks in Christ, Maria

Prayer Answered: 12/24/10

I may have requested prayer on your website for my cat, Jasper, who had diabetes.  After a period of time, the Lord led us to a new vet who changed his diet.  He is no longer diabetic and no longer needs shots.  All praise and Glory to the Lord.  Thank you for your website and the precious support it gives to those of us who deeply love our animal companions.  I have two of your books.  May the Lord bless you as you continue in this wonderful ministry!  In Christ, Maria

Prayer Request: Feb. 5, 2011

I am sending out a prayer request for my sister's bird, Abigail. She is an African Grey and a source of my sister's joy and strength.  My sister, Kim, suffers from severe anxiety and bi-polarism.  She is a faithful Christian woman, but this mental condition has caused her life much grief.  She accidently let the water in a Teflon pan boil out and this is toxic to birds.  She does not have the money to take Abigail to a vet, but even the vets say there is little they can do to save her.  She is showing all the classic signs of Teflon poisoning and is basically dying.  My sister called to ask me to pray.  I found your site while searching the topic.  Please lift Abigail and my sister Kim in prayer.  God is the great physician and he can do what no man, vet, etc., is able to do.  I pray it is God's will to heal Abigail and not take this source of joy from my sister.  Amen. Thank you!!  Tracy

Prayer Answered: Feb. 6, 2011

Thank you for your prayers!  Abigail is doing fine. It's an answered prayer, there is no other explaination. This condition is critical and by all statistics she should have died.  At the very least she should still be extremely sick if not already passed away.  I think God cares about all his creatures and the desires of our hearts.  Tracy

Prayer Request: May 4, 2011

Could you please say some prayers for our sweet 3 yr. old pug, Peaches?  She has developed a mast cell tumor on her right front leg.  It may be malignant or benign---that is not known yet.

It is currently too large for them to remove it via surgery---we are trying to shrink it first with some meds and it will need to shrink dramatically.  Removal of this type of tumor is difficult and she could lose her leg or worse.  Please pray that her life and limb are spared and that the tumor shrinks.  We would just be devastated if we lose her.  She came into our life 3 yrs. ago and was the spark that pulled my daughter out of a depression.  We need a miracle! Please help and we appreciate it so much.  Thanks!  Rene

Prayer Answered: May 22, 2011

I cannot thank you enough for your prayers and words of support during our trouble with our pug, Peaches.  She had her tumor removal surgery on 5/13/11 and came through with flying colors! She did not lose her leg and they were able to close the wound in a very difficult place on her leg, with no problems. As we came to find out, the surgeon we had interned in Boston several years ago. During her time there, she happened to take some classes with a plastic surgeon who specialized in working on people who had needed repairs to areas such as their faces, where tissue is limited.  She learned a special cut procedure which she used on Peaches' leg! I know God did that for us!  We also just got the lab report back on her tumor--they got it all! It had not spread and was not cancer! Her prognosis for complete healing is excellent!.   I have to tell you that right before they called me after completion of her surgery, I started to worry so I said a prayer.  A short time later I had a strong feeling of angels singing praises of thanksgiving to God because he healed my dog.  I felt such a sense of peace and they called me 5 mins. later and told me the surgery went great!  I rec'd and read your book the Animal Prayer Guide.  What a fantastic book. I love it! You have no idea how it helped me and my family.  I am so glad I found your site on the internet.  Thank you so much!  Sincerely, Rene

My daughter's dog, Marley a chow mix,  ran away from her back yard in Maryland and has been missing for one hour and half.  My daughter is out of town at a conference and her friend is trying to find her in neighborhood and is close to train tracks.  I am praying Psalm 91 over her and appreciate your prayer support in her behalf.  I dreamed this morning that my front door was open and her other dog along with my dog ran out to the street.  I never dreamed that before so it was a clear sign what was happening there.  This dog is a beautiful dog and full of life so appreciate intervening on her behalf.  Thanks so much!  Ann

Prayer Answered: May 22, 2010

I appreciate your support in prayers for Marley.  I routinely pray Psalm 91 over my daughter and her dogs daily.  I knew the Angels could protect her wherever she wandered away.  She was found 2 hours later and she did cross the busy highway (like a parkway in Maryland) and it is a miracle she was not hurt.  Someone found her and called my daughter based on the number on her tag.  Praise The Lord!!  I've been thanking the Lord all day for His protection and miracles.  Thank you!!  Ann

Prayer Request: November 6, 2010

Please pray for my Shetland pony Tilly. She is 17 yrs old and just lost her life-long best friend Filly a quarter horse/Australian stock horse who was 27yrs old. Filly very sadly had to be put down (as she lost so much condition in her old age and despite being fed plenty of horse food especially for older horses, she just could not put on weight anymore and the vet said she would be suffering a lot of pain and have difficulty even getting around because her muscles had wasted away). I am still finding it hard myself grieving her loss but I am concerned for Tilly as she loves company and would miss Filly alot so I really hope to find some agistment that is closer to home (as she is currently an hour away on a friend's farm since my parents were divorced). Please pray that we may find somewhere soon that's good for her and will meet all her needs, ideally that there'll be another horse or a pony to keep her company and that will get along well with Tilly and also preferably somewhere that doesn't have a big problem with ticks. Tilly is very tame and friendly, I would love her to have a new friend and love to see more of her too so she needs to be closer to home. Please also pray for her front left leg as she was limping a bit last time I saw her - her hooves have been treated now and she has improved but please pray for a full recovery. Thank you kindly for your prayers. I have sent a photo of Tilly taken 5yrs ago as an attachment if you would like to see it. I live in Taree, New South Wales, Australia. I am very grateful to have found your site and thank you for sharing hope that we will see our beloved animals again someday in Heaven, the way you explain the bible verses brings out the truth so clearly and gives me comfort. Sincerely, Miriam

Prayer Answered: January 11, 2011

I'm writing to thank you for your prayers for my 17yr old Shetland pony Tilly. Her front leg has completely recovered, she is not limping at all anymore, thank God and she has also found a new home closer to where I live. Tilly is now on a 100 acre farm 20 minutes away from my home and she has a new pony friend, a black and white pinto Shetland gelding named Jigsaw. Her introduction was a little nervy to start with as he is the boss of the horses there and Tilly had a bit of a kick at him, mainly I think she was quite scared and he had a kick back until the owner clapped his hands and they both ran off! But then not long after they both were hanging around grazing near each other like they were best mates! :) There is a photo of Tilly with Jigsaw I am sending as an attachment if you'd like to see. There are also two quarter horses at the property. Tilly has settled in well there and I'm grateful she's not alone anymore after losing her best friend, my horse Filly and it is so nice to have her closer as I can see her more often. It was also the only place made available for agistment for her but it has worked out very well as the owners of the property are Christians and very friendly, kind people and it is a beautiful property and there are far fewer ticks in this area to bother Tilly so it is a blessing and an answer to prayers. Praise the Lord and thank you kindly for your prayers, sincerely Miriam, Australia

Prayer Request: February 21, 2011

Hello Niki, I hope you are doing very well. I have a prayer request for you if it isn't too much trouble.  I would be very happy
if you would pray for my Weimaraner Cooper, who has been having strange hip problems and hasn't been eating. He will be
a year old March 13th.  The vet said he has weak hips and trouble fully bending his back legs but our main concern at the moment
is that he isn't eating anything. Cooper will be going for xrays next week to figure out if he will need to have surgery to fix his hips.
There might not be all that much we can do for him and if he is in a great amount of pain our only option will be to put him to sleep.
Please pray that there will be something the vets can do for Cooper, I'm not ready to lose my puppy. Thank you, Blaire.

Prayer Answered: March 1, 2011

Dear Niki, I am very happy to inform you that Cooper is making a recovery. He started eating again and the pain in his hips
seems to have stopped completely. Thank you so much for praying for my puppy, we send our love!  Blaire

Tula

Prayer Request:  January 5, 2011

Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement. This morning, after two days outside, our beloved Tula found her way home! Yesterday we set two live traps in the woods behind our house in the hopes that she might come for food, but we had no luck last night. This morning, as I walked to check the traps, I knew I wouldn't find her, and I didn't. However, as I came back to the house I had a strong feeling that I should check the back deck, and there she was!  I can't tell you how much your prayers have meant to me, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Warmest regards, Cheryl

Prayer Answered: January 4, 2011

I found your site when searching for inspiration and prayers in the case of our lost pet bunny, Tula. She has gotten outside, and we cannot find her anywhere. It has been a very cold night, and I can only hope she has found a warm place to hide, and that she will make her way back home today. If perhaps you might say a prayer for the safe return of Tula, it would be deeply appreciated. Kindest regards, Cheryl

Prayer Request:  November 2, 2010

Please pray for our darling Muttafor.  He is a 15 year old beautiful English Fox Hound who is the defining member of our family.  If you know us, you know Muttafor!   He is sweet and funny and everyone loves him.  He lost his best friend - Brandi, a miniature poodle, 3 years ago and mourned with us all until we got him a new friend, Ginger , a miniature poodle who loves only Muttafor.  She is afraid of everyone else and right now is taking care  of her big guy very tenderly.  He has Cushings disease, which we have been treating for about 2 years quite successfully.  However, In the past 3 weeks, Muttafor has lost much of his strength and energy and will hardly eat anything, and cannot get to his favorite places on the couches or down the stairs.  Please pray to our merciful God that Muttafor will be happy and healthy for just a while longer before he has to leave us.  Thank you, Diane

Prayer Answered: November 16, 2010

I want to thank everyone for all your prayers.  Miraculously Muttafor is still alive and getting better!  He is literally our miracle dog - coming back from the very brink of death!  For almost a week he could hardly get up, eat or sometimes even raise his head.  I came very close to calling the vet to have him come and help Muttafor but for some reason I didn't.  Now day, by day, he is gaining strength, able to jump up on his favorite chair, begging for food and even running across the yard!  We are absolutely overcome with gratitude to God for sparing our dear friend for at least a little longer.  We want to thank all of your for your prayers which we are certain helped with his recovery.  Tomorrow we leave for our annual Thanksgiving trip to Arizona to visit our son.  We never thought we would be taking Muttafor anywhere again and now he is getting excited because he knows suitcases mean Arizona and his doggie friends.  Thank you all again and God Bless!  Diane

Luke

Prayer Request:  May 15, 2010

My Dog, a 5 yr old Brittany has been in the hospital for three days with a bacterial infection, leprosicty, in his kidneys.  With a aggressive treatment we need prayers. He is the closest dog I have ever had, though I've owned many in my life. This dog is truly the sweetest dog of them all. It would be a horrible thing to lose him this early in his life. Please Pray for Luke that he returns to his family of Mom, dad and two little girls.  Mary

The IV's are coming out tonight, he is keeping food down, and is happy to see his family. He will have a St. Frances metal attached to his collar of  the rest of his life. I can not thank you all enough for your prayers. I know it was God's help that allows me to bring my dog home again.  Mary

My name is Amanda and my husband and I just brought home a furry addition to the family about 3 days ago. Yesterday we found out our new puppy (Moose) has parvo and is pretty sick. We are doing his treatment here at home but know that extra prayers would be wonderful. Please pray for Moose, that God heals him, and makes him feel better so he can have a long and healthy life.

I just wanted to let you know that Moose made a full recovery and has gained the weight he lost.   He is now a happy, crazy, and wild puppy. Thank you so much for praying for him, and praise be to God for healing him. Thank you so much!!!!    Moose thanks you too!!!!  Amanda

Prayer Request & Answer

Several months ago I requested prayer for Jade, my wonderful dog, who had licked her foot almost to the bone after the loss of our other dog. I requested prayer several times as her foot was not healing. Thank God her foot has healed. It finally healed after the Lord lead us to a new veterinarian.  She knew exactly what to do, and in a few weeks her foot was healed. After seven months, finally. Praise God, we are so happy. Thank you for your prayers and God  bless you and your ministry.     Barbara, August 29, 2010

Worsie is the black, male Dachshund of my friend who went missing on Saturday, May 8, 2010.  Please pray with me so that God may protect Worsie, and bring Worsie Home Safely.  Please Please Please. Thank you.  Cheryl

Prayer Answered: June 2, 2010

Yesterday, we received a call from a lady, and she informed me where she saw Worsie, but wasn’t sure if it was him.  So I went there, and to my delight, it surely was Worsie.  I want to first of all thank God for His Mercy and Help, because without Him, nothing is possible.  I would also like to thank you, and each and everyone who prayed for the safe return of Worsie.  I really appreciate all your prayers.  May God bless you all.  Thank you so, so, so much!  Cheryl

Handsome Sammy

Prayer Request:  June 5, 2010

I was petting our Sammy (5 year old Siamese male cat) this evening and felt what we all dread--a lump. It's right under a nipple. I'm going to call the vet Monday. Please, please keep us in your prayers.  Pray it's not cancer.   Kimberly

Prayer Answered:  June 15, 2010

Fantastic news! Sammy's lump was a sebaceous cyst, and he's OK!!   He didn't like it, but he was very good, very LOUD, in his carrier, but very good. Everyone at the clinic was very nice, and the vet has a lot of experience. I feel like a million ton weight has been lifted.   Kimberly

Prayer Request:  April 29, 2010

Thank you for your prayers for Sophie (Australian Shepherd, 12 years old).   Please continue to pray as she is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday May 4th to remove the tumor on her foot. She will have to go under general anesthesia.  Her owner, Diane, is concerned about this as the last time she needed anesthesia it affected her very negatively and she barely came out of it.  Sophie is much older now.  It is so comforting to know there are believers out there who understand about pets, and how special they are and that they need prayer too.   Thank you so much!!!  God bless you.  Ruth

Prayer Answered:  May 11, 2010

Thank you so much for your prayers for Sophie's surgery.  The tumor on her foot was removed successfully, and the test results show it was BENIGN!!!  We give God all the glory and many thanks to you for interceding for this dear canine.  Would you continue to lift her up for total healing of the surgical incision.  Thank you again.  Ruth

Please pray for my 6 year old cat whose name is Mazey. I took her to emergency on December 27 after repeated vomiting. She has been in the hospital on IV, and there is no improvement and the doctors are trying to find out what is wrong. I went to visit her this evening and seeing her suffering broke my heart. I spoke to her for an hour and tried to calm her my telling her what a good girl she is and how much I love her.  Please pray that the doctors quickly determine what’s wrong with her and that she will be healthy enough to come home to me soon.  Thank-you.  Mike

Thank you for your reply. Mazey, my cat, made a miraculous recovery yesterday afternoon which even the doctors couldn’t explain. Of course, I know it was God’s hand that helped her through this thanks to your prayers and those from other friends and family.  Thank-you so much.  Mike

On 10/30/2009 I requested Prayers for Murdoch's eye surgery, and to remove some of the "fold" between his nose and eyeballs. He underwent surgery on 11/04/09, and wore an Elizabethan Cone for the month of November.  The result of his surgery was an almost perfect job done by the eye surgeon.  He is now off the medications including eye drops, and he is a very handsome dog. Thank you for your prayer assistance!  I felt everything would go well for Murdoch throughout the ordeal and through faith and hope, He came through for Murdoch again.. Thanks, Virgil.

He is getting surgery tomorrow morning at 9, but because he is 13 and has a heart murmur.  They are unsure if he will make it through. This dog is the most loving animal I have ever met in my life. I have had an email from my friend, Michelle, whose son has a kitty called Baby who has a growth on the side of his face right near his eye, and he is frantic with worry about him.  They are taking him to find out what it is.  My friend is an animal lover like us, Niki, and has asked for prayers for him.  I am sending your site to her, and told her all about your wonderful books and your mission to help all pet lovers everywhere.  Please can your team pray for Baby and John his owner, that Baby will get healed from this, no matter what it is. It is always the waiting that seems so long when you are hoping for good news that it is benign.  Thank you so much Niki, you and your team are in my prayers. God bless you,  Susan

I am requesting prayer for my 16 year old Yorkshire Terrier, Martha.  Martha was diagnosed with multiple heart problems two years ago.  Through medication her heart problems have been controlled.  As an animal ages kidney function becomes a health problem. At this moment Martha is gravely ill with kidney failure.  Please pray for relief from suffering for Martha and for healing.  She has been at the vet for over 24 hours and is very weak.  I am bringing her home tonight to be surrounded by her family.  Thank
you.  Robin
Answered, August 28, 2009

Just wanted to let you know we have received good news from the vet!  Praise God!  Martha’s blood test came back with everything at normal or near normal levels on kidney function.  The vet was very surprised, because she was in such bad shape on Monday when I took her in.  I am so glad I found your website on Tuesday.  My vet had told me Martha was so weak she might pass away during the night Tuesday.  I kept praying all night using the prayers on your website as a guideline. Please continue to pray for us.  Thank you for your ministry.  Sincerely, Robin

I have a very urgent prayer request for my precious Boxer, Abi.  She is 8 years and 9 months old, and was diagnosed several years ago with Hip Dysplasia.  We have given her the best of care and love but we are now faced with the latest diagnosis of Lumbar Spondylosis.  She is not doing well at all and is starting to lose the use of her right rear leg.  I believe with all of my heart in the power of prayer, and I believe in the prayer warriors that read your web site.  I believe if they will lift my precious Abi up in their prayers God will hear us and if it is His will He will heal her.  Cindy

Answered, July 20, 2009

I just wanted to give you and your prayer partners a quick update on our precious Abi.  We are watching a miracle happen right before our eyes.  There are no words to describe the gratitude we feel for you and everyone that is praying with us.  Our vet says it has to be answer to prayer, because there is no other explanation for her drastic improvement.  We have watched over the last few days her leg growing stronger, and she is now able to get up on her own and is now walking on all four legs.  She still doesn't have all the strength back in her leg, and may never be fully recovered but we will continue to believe and pray that God will give her complete healing.  My heart is rejoicing.

All of our friends and neighbors that saw her just a week ago and has seen her today has ask what did you do?  It has been such an opportunity to witness to them about the awesome power of prayer and I have been giving God the glory as well as telling each of them about your website and the wonderful work you are doing.  Thank you again and please continue to lift Abi up in prayer and we will continue to pray for the great work you do.  God Bless You.  Cindy

Please pray for my Mom's 13-yr old cat named Novi.  He lives with my Mom in San Antonio, TX, but we've had him as our "family" cat since he was a baby and I was still living with my Mom.  My sister took him to the vet today.  He has lost weight, 2 lbs, even though he has been eating.  Yesterday or today he was hiding out, they found him at their home and he looked sick and wasn't moving much.  The vet/Dr. said that he wasn't looking good, looks sick. Says he has a heart problem/heart murmur and maybe something wrong with his pancreas, but not sure.  My sister picked him up as requested by vet to take him to an over night clinic since they were getting ready to close vet office for the day.  We love him very much and he's such a sweet cat.  He's medium/long hair, dark gray or blue color with green eyes. Please pray that he will heal and pull through this.  We pray he has some more good years left in him.  Thank you.  Thank you Lord, amen.  Sincerely, Patty

I wanted to let you know that my Mom's cat Novi is doing much better.  He went home from the vet's office on 6/04/09.  He had something going on with his pancreas. I believe pancreatitis. He had this once before a couple/few years ago.  So far he's recovering.  Thank God! Thank you so much for your prayers and support. We're so happy Novi is fine, at home and doing better.   Patty

I am writing to thank you for your prayers for Stella, a dog I had written to you about the other day.  The veterinarians at the ICU surgery center where Stella was being treated said that it would be a miracle if she lived.  I am extremely happy to tell you that Stella"s miracle occured and she went home with her "Mom" (my best friend) today.  I will continue to pray for her, all animals and for the work and kindness that you share with loving pet owners, Sincerely, Susan

This request is for a brave cat named Moki and his owner Crystal in CA.  Moki contracted a virus months ago that affected his neuological system.  He has been dealing with that but yesterday he has developed a respiratory infection and urinary infection and is not eating unless force fed.  He has battled so much, please help him thru this.  Cheryl

Answered, February 15, 2009

Just want to let you know that Moki is doing fine.  His infections have subsided for now and he seems to be on the mend.  Thank you for your prayers!  Cheryl

Please pray for my cat, Mollie.  She was found to have a mass around the gallbladder/liver area, but the vet doesn't know yet what it is.  She'll be having surgery tomorrow.  Thank you and God bless.  Bunny Jo

Answered, February 2, 2009

Hi, Niki--wonderful news!  We brought Mollie home Sat. from the vet clinic where she had been since Jan. 21.  She has a feeding tube which is temporary until she can eat on her own.  She's already eating some solid food.  The vet. and the vet. tech told us today when we took her back for follow-up blood work that her results were almost perfect and that her recovery was truly "a miracle".  Thank you so very much for all your prayers and support.  I know this is what saved her life.  I know she knew we were all praying for her and she had a strong will to survive.  God bless you and your circle of prayer partners.  I continue to prayer for Mollie and all sick and injured animals, too.  Love, Bunny Jo

Skylar is my beautiful 5-year old German shepherd who was recently diagnosed with liver disease.  He's been on Phenobarbital for the past 3-1/2 years for epilepsy, and it affected his liver.  Now we're fighting for his life.  I don't want to lose him, so will you please say a prayer for him?  Thank you!  Patti & Skylar

Answered, January 22, 2009

I wrote to you last year regarding my German shepherd boy, Skylar, who was diagnosed with liver disease and was given mere weeks to live.  However, my beautiful boy is now six years old, and his liver enzymes are smack within range!  He's healthier than the rest of us!!!  This, I believe, is a miracle.  Just wanted to say thanks for all of your prayers!  Best wishes, Patti

Moses

Request, November 10,  2008

MOSES, my ragdoll cat has a tumor that is wrapped around the right eardrum. The vet does not even know if he can get it all, and it is black which is not a good sign. It could be cancer. Moses is the sweetest, most ,loving cat in the world, and I do not want to lose him. Will you please pray for him? Thanks so much. Jan

Answered, November 13, 2008

God answered our prayers about Moses. I took him to Aurora, 2 hrs away to the specialist. They removed all the tumor, and he is fine and it was not malignant. His whole ear canal was blocked. I have l2 months to pay and it was reasonable. They were wonderful, and he is so excited to be able to hear and he is able to eat too. Thank you for your prayers. He still has a temp of l03 which I hope will go down as his infection behind the eardrum where the tumor was is now not blocked.  We return in 3 wks for a visit with the dermatologist, and have been discharged by the oncologist. Please pray that Shadow Baby will be found safe. She is very shy and will not be likely to approach strangers.  Her adoptive family lives too far away for me to help in the search.  Leila

Thank God!!! I just received the news that Shadow has been found safe, and is back with her adoptive family. Thank you so much for praying with me. I was so afraid for her, knowing that she is shy and was in a strange place. I know it was the power of God that protected little Shadow and brought her home!  Leila

Please pray for my rescue cat, Yoda.  He's not sick, but because of his temperament, I'm not sure it's going to be easy finding him a good home.  A rescue group has agreed to take him, but he'll be in a cage, and he HATES the cage.  He's very hyper and runs rampant through the house, and because of this, I'm not sure he'll be easy to adopt out.  I just want him to find a decent home where he'll have a good life.  Please pray that God will guide me to finding him the right owners, that will take good care of Yoda, and whom Yoda will make very happy.  Blessings to You and Your Ministry.  You're always in my prayers. Roxanne

Answered, October 22, 2008

Just want you to know that Yoda got adopted last Saturday!!  He did go to the rescue group I mentioned, which is no-kill, and he was in a cage for a few days at a local Petsmart.  The adoption counselor put him in a very large double cage, since he's such a high-energy cat, and a nice family adopted him.  So he did spend a few days in a cage, but did fine. :-)

Thanks so much for your prayers!!!  You guys are awesome, God Bless!!  Roxanne

I was hoping you could pray for my 9 year old Chihuahua named Paco. He has the biggest personality I have ever met. He is a friend and a family member and we love him dearly. He has to have surgery tomorrow. He is
allergic to many types of anesthesia so the surgery is risky, but necessary. I trust my vet with all my heart, but I'm still scared. Will you please pray for my friend and loved one, Paco, and pray for my vet? It would mean a lot to me to know that he has a lot of prayers on his side. Thanks, Melanie

My cat Buddy is 16 yrs. old.  He was not feeling well so we went to Vet who they took an x-ray and saw both of his kidneys were twice the size they should be.  She thinks it could be a mass, but please pray it is just a bad kidney infection.  I love him so much.  He has been by my side since I was a teen.  Please pray he will overcome this.  I will find out the doctors results in the morning.  All I can do is pray.  Thank you, Lisa

Answered, September 12, 2008

I have just been blessed by God with a miracle.  I wrote in for my 16 yr old cat Buddy last week.  My vet was almost sure he had a mass in both kidneys, but she sent in a urine test and no cancer was found.  He has a bad infection.  He is now on med's for that. I am so relieved.  I can't tell you thank you enough for all your prayers and support through this. Thank you, Lisa

Answered, September 13, 2008

Dear Niki,

Just to let you know, we got Muffin's results today and it's good news! It was a solitary tumor, removed successfully and it hadn't spread, and is very unlikely to re-occur.  Thank you so much to everyone at Eternal Animals for your prayers and good wishes.  Kind regards, Celia

I am requesting prayer that I can trap a tiny kitten that comes in my yard. It’s a little tiger; as yet unnamed. I got close to trapping him last night but no success. His little sister was found half-dead in my yard and covered in ants and is now recovering in a foster home. We have a rescue organization ready to take the tiger kitten.

Please pray that I can get the sweet thing trapped, fixed and onto a good home.  Thank you and God Bless, Barbara

Answered, August 5, 2008

Praise be to God!!! I asked for prayer yesterday that I would be able to trap a little kitten in my yard. Well, I was able to trap not only the little tiger kitten but his mommie also (in the same trap)!!! They are awaiting pickup by our local rescue organization.

We have already rescued a little girl kitten (sister to the little tiger guy). She is now in a foster home. I ask continued prayer that homes will be found for these 3 precious cats.  Thank you for all your prayers and God Bless, Barbara

I am sending a prayer request for a beautiful collie we are calling Frank.  We are trying desperately to find his owners--we know someone loves this dog very much. He is groomed, neutered, and tattooed. He is currently in our spare room since he does not get along with our cats. We cannot keep him, so if we don't find his home or any home for him we will be forced to call Animal Control. Please pray we find Frank a good home, preferably the one he lost. Kim

Answered, July 29, 2008

Wow, you guys work fast! Less than twenty four hours after you began praying for Frank and his safe return to his family, we got a phone call from a wonderful woman who saw our listing on Petfinder.com. She called to claim Frank, or rather, Barkley, and picked him up at our house just minutes ago! So from the bottom of my heart, the owner's heart, and Barkley's heart, thank you thank you thank you! Keep up the good work!  Sincerely, Kim

Please pray for my sick puppy, Olive, the vet said it is not looking good and I should think about doing what is best for her.

Olive, 14 weeks, 3 pounds, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, please pray Olive  will recover from severe intestinal problems that is impacting her entire tiny system. The vet said she is not doing well and is not responding to
treatment. She has been in the hospital for almost a week. Please pray for her to recover and be a healthy girl I can care for. I'd be very grateful.  Allison

Answered, July 25, 2008

Wanted to pass on the great news. Olive came home yesterday. I am so grateful for the many prayers said for her. I know it is faith and prayers that turned her situation around. She is happy to be home and is eating on her own and is on the road to recovery. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and blessings. I couldn't think about letting Olive go as such a young pup, she has way too much to do and too much joy to share. I hope many other people will experience the happiness I am having today.
Thanks, Allison

Thank you so much for the tips and prayers.  They were answered when my little guy showed up on the front porch last night at 10:30 p.m.  He'd been gone for 15 days.  He's only been in his mom's nest and my house, so he's not a "worldly" guy.  He's thinner and has a few kitty scratches, but by in large in pretty good shape. Erika

One of my cats, Ashre, has been unwell over the last few days and I would appreciate it if you would put her on your prayer list please.  Ashre was acting a little strange on Sunday night by sitting in an unusual place; she is very much a creature of habit.  She did the same thing on Monday night.  I wasn't able to find her at first when I got up around 4.45am on Tuesday morning.  After a while, and getting quite frightened, I did find her and discovered that she had suffered a nasty bout of diarrhea and was looking weak.  I got her to the vet's as soon as I could and they provided treatment and kept her until Wednesday afternoon.  This is the first time that Ashre has ever been sick in her nearly sixteen years.  While the diarrhea has cleared up the vets discovered that Ashre has a thyroid problem which we are treating with tablets.  I am told that sometimes providing treatment for this problem can unmask other problems such as with the kidneys.  As you can imagine, I am worried about that.  It would be wonderful if other people could pray that Ashre's treatment is successful and that she is able to enjoy excellent  health.  Thank you so much.  Very best wishes to you, Michael

Answered, May 1, 2008

Just  a quick update on Ashre.  You might remember that I was worried that when she received the treatment for the overactive thyroid that other problems might be unmasked. Anyway, earlier today Nicole and Sue from the vet's came over to my place to take a follow up blood sample, much to Ashre's displeasure, and Nicole just rang me with the results.  She said that Ashre's "values were excellent" and "right in the middle of where they should be".  So that is great news!!  I have to keep giving her the tablets which she doesn't like but we will press on.

Thank you so much for including Ashre on your prayer list, I know that it really helped.   Your ministry is certainly in my prayers too.  You are welcome to use my messages anyway you choose. God bless you all, Michael

Answered, April 14, 2008

Thank you so much for your prayers and response.  My wonderful R.C. had surgery on Friday and he is now doing great.  He had a huge abscess and the vet drained it and put a tube in him so it could continue to drain.  He goes back to his vet today.  He now has NO fever and is eating and sleeping in my lap. Thank you so much for caring and thank you for your website.  I know there are many, many people who love their pets as much as I love mine.  Thank you again for your prayers.  God has answered them!!  Sandra

Archie

Request, April 2, 2008

Hi, my name is Jonathan I'm 20 years old and I live in California and I've had Archie (a yorkie) for about
11 years. He is the best pet I literally have ever had.  In the past couple years he has been having breathing
problems where he has a Collapsing Trachea. My mom was able to put a stint in where he was having the
breathing issues but months later he started breathing horrible again. They found out that his whole trachea
is collapsing and there is nothing they can do for him... on a check up visit, where I brought him in, they surprised me telling they wanted to put him to sleep. When I actually saw him, he was perfectly fine!! We took him home 8 hours later after contemplating on what we should do. Now a couple months later he's in bad shape. Today he is gasping for air but then is able to be fine moments later!  I'm praying for my Archie and I need others to do the  same. I am a strong Christian and Archie along with all animals are sinless and I absolutely hate seeing him fighting for his life. I know he doesn't want to die because he is still fighting. PLEASE pray for him!  Everyone that meets Archie falls in love with him. I know God is on my side and I trust him, but there needs to be more prayer and its breaking my heart to think about losing my dog. Thank You So Much!  Sincerely, Jonathan

Answered, April 20, 2008

YES!!  Thank the Lord and his Love!!!!!  Archie, who would be choking and gasping for air while his throat was closing up on him if he just got excited enough to wag his tail, is now running, playing, and being my favorite dog once again, with ABSOLUTELY NO SIGN of coughing!!!! ITS SO WEIRD!

It seems, as a weak attempt to supply Archie with medicine, (the doctor didn't really think the medicine would help since she knew Archie would need surgery again to live. but the surgery would shorten Archies life most indefinitely, such as putting a hole in his neck to breathe) has now became an absolute miracle. The vet told us that she has never seen Archie this healthy before and she doesn't understand how the medicine could do what its doing...but we all know, its not the medicine that's behind it. Its the Creator and us asking for some help...

He's as perfectly healthy as he was 11 years ago when I first met him. This has been the first time in so many years where he hasn't had one sign of breathing issues...it gives me chills just thinking about how the Lord answered my prayers and everyone else who prayed for my dog. I KNEW it was a good idea to get a prayer team involved! =)  Thank you for your love and support for praying for other peoples animals....this is unreal but i'll except it!  Sincerely, Jonathan

Request, May 23, 2007

D.C. (Dad's Cat), 1 year old, male, black and white.  He became lethargic the last two days with vomiting.  Turns out he swallowed a piece of string with became attached to the back of his throat and has obstructed his bowel.  The vet was able to free the string from the back of his throat, but now he could use prayer to make sure it passes through his body and he become well again.  The surest way to ensure him getting better is surgery, but that is cost prohibitive, and it hurts me to say that.  He will be on IV fluids and antibiotics tonight (5/24) and with God's help will be much better tomorrow.  I request prayer that he will recover swiftly.... he is a great
kitty.  Please pray that I made the right choice and that he will recover without the expensive surgery.
thank you, Karen

Answered, April 16, 2008 (belated answer)

I am sorry that I've taken so long to update you on DC's condition.....  he completely recovered!  It was completely amazing, because he was near death.  As it turns out, he ate some ribbon (used on presents) and one end of it had attached itself to the base of his tongue, and the rest of it attempted to pass through his body.  This caused his intestines to start to twist, as I understand it.  I was blessed to have a veterinarian who took it upon himself to do an ultrasound on him (and not charge me for it), and this is how his problem was discovered.  He then reached in and clipped the ribbon....  DC was back to normal within a few days.  Thank you so much for your prayers.  I was relying on faith alone, because he was in such bad shape!  Karen

Please say a prayer for our 10 month old lab/boxer mix Marley.  He is at the vet today with an unknown stomach problem.  The doctors think he has a blocking and may require surgery.  He's our little guy and a big part of our lives.  Please also say a prayer for the doctors working on Marley and the ones who work on all the animals every day.    Sheri & Mike

Answered, April 8, 2008

Thank you so much for all the prayers.  After keeping Marley overnight, the doctors determined that there was no blockage and no surgery was required, just some medication.  Marley came home today and is back to his regular rambunctious self.  I think his sister's (Macey and Recon) were as glad as we were to have him home.  Please keep all the vet and vet tech's that care for our beloved animals on a daily basis in your prayers as we will do the same.  Again thank you for your thoughts and prayers, we are sure they are what made the difference.  Sheri & Mike

Our big orange cat, Fred, is lost.  Please pray that he will return home very soon.  Mary

Answered, January 10, 2008

Fred, our big orange cat had been missing since the day after Christmas. We live in very rural upstate NY and we have had some below zero weather. In addition, we live in an area with many coyotes and fox. Anyway, our neighbor called at about 7pm and said that his wife was driving to the store and called him on her cell phone to say they saw an orange cat go into the woods a mile from here. We jumped in our car, and drove to the area, and started yelling. Within 10 seconds he was calling back to us, and as I sit here writing to you in such deep gratitude, he is resting on a chair (after eating a lot!...he has lost quite a bit of weight but looks good). Thank you so much for your ministry. Your prayers sustained me when I could not find it in myself to believe that he was alive. In deepest gratitude, Mary

Please pray for Reggie, a 12 year old dalmation who is very sick with a neurological disorder affecting his hind legs - his owner has been up nights with the dog and is trying to work and make it to the vet today. The dog has memory problems as well. Please pray for miracle healing and for wisdom and provision for the owner, Rich to know how best to take care of Reggie and also for protection of the dog when Rich can't be with him due to work. Thanks and God bless, Natalie, a friend of Reggie and Rich.

Answered, December 23, 2008

Can you post a praise report answered prayers post for Reggie!  He showed signs of healing today after being prayed over last night by an anointed minister - for the first time in 2 weeks he got up from his lame hind legs and got up on his own and jumped from a patio area onto a raised area/furniture and his owner Rich had a dream last night after the prayer that God was telling him by faith Reggie would be healed.  Praise the Lord.  Thank you for praying for Reggie!  God heard the prayers.  Merry Christmas to all!  This is a wonderful gift from the Lord.   Natalie

Kindly pray for my cat, Walter.  From 23rd of this month he left home.  While my son was bringing in the gas cylinder to get it changed, he got frightened and just ran out of the house in fear.  He has gone up on an asbestos roof top and is unable to come down.  On one occasion he was trying to jump down on a box, but he was too afraid of the height and gave up. I am so worried for him.  Kindly pray that he is able to find his way down and he comes back to me safe and sound.  Florette

Answered, November 29, 2008

Thanks for your prayers.  Last night I was successful in coaxing Walter to come down.  In the past I was not able to do so, but yesterday, I finally did it with your prayers and the prayers of others I had written to.  He has finally returned to me safe and sound after 5 awful days.  God Bless! Would all of you please pray for Babe, a little Shitzu, who has cancer. Babe is 10 years old and everybody loves him. He is the sweetest, most adorable little dog who adores his mommy And she adores him.  His owner has taken such loving care of this little dog for 10 years. Everyone is devastated that he now has cancer. He is going to be operated on.  So I would like to request that all pet lovers who read this message, please pray for Babe!!! Melody

Answered, January 30, 2008

Hi, Just wanted to thank you and everyone who prayed for Babe. He had the operation yesterday. What they thought was a tumor turned out to be a bloody mass (they think a piece of wood got into his body and all the vessels formed around it). Well, they removed the mass, no other organs were affected. He came home today. I went there expecting to see him on some kind of doggie bed, but he walked right onto the porch, I petted him, then he walked right back into his home. He is the cutest thing you ever saw.  Thanks so much for all the prayers. THEY WORKED!!  Melody

Maggie after surgery

Request, October 11, 2007

Please pray for our beloved family member, Maggie. She is a 10.5 year old Boxer/Bully cross who has just had a biopsy done to find out if the growth in her mammary gland is malignant. We will be getting the results on Saturday, but are needing all the prayers we can for our baby girl to give her (and us) the strength to get through this. Thank you all very, very much.  Angela

Answered, October 28, 2007

We found out our beloved girl has cancer of the mammary glands and the vet said for us to keep her comfortable until it was time to euthanize her as there wasn't much hope for her recovery even with major surgery twice. This was on the Monday. On the Saturday we thought Maggie was in pain so I rang the vet to get her some pain killers for over the weekend, and probably say goodbye to her on the Monday. I spoke to the vet, and he had done some further research and spoke to reproductive specialists and professors. He decided as long as the cancer hadn't spread to her lungs or chest he would like to operate. We took her in on the Monday for the x-ray, and all was clear so he did the surgery.

We are very, very happy to say we have our baby girl back, and the operation was 100% successful as the cancer had not spread from the mammary glands he removed. She does have to have further surgery later on for 3 smaller cancers, but the vet is happy to wait on this until she has fully recovered from this surgery.

Maggie is like a puppy again. It is absolutely amazing to see our girl jumping, barking, and playing again --a sight we never thought we would see again. It really is a miracle as this carcinoma Maggie has is a very aggressive form of cancer, and kills most dogs within several months and yet our girl seems to have had it for at least 12 months without it spreading. Thank you so very much for your prayers for our family and our beautiful girl - they have been answered. God bless you Niki, and God bless those who prayed for our much loved Maggie girl. I have enclosed a photo of her the day after her surgery.  Angela

Thank you very much for your prayers.  I have purchased all three of your books, and am looking forward to reading them.  Yesterday, my wife's puppy (4mos) Murdoch was taken to the vet to be neutered.  While preparing him for the surgery, somehow his restraints came loose, and the technician poked him in the eye with a needle.  We don't know how much damage to his eye occurred, but we have an appointment in the morning with a vet specializing in eye surgery.  Please pray for Murdoch.  Thank you. Virgil

Answered, October 18, 2007

Murdoch was examined on October 9 by a vet specializing in eye care including surgery.  She found that the hypodermic needle did penetrate the eye, but barely touched the lens. No damage discovered, and a full and complete recovery is the prognosis for Murdoch!  Thank you very much for your prayers, You are wonderful people.  Thank you. Virgil

Please pray for Leaf, our 5 year old fawn Whippet who suffered a spinal injury, and has lost the use of her back legs. Please pray for her recovery. Thank you, Mike and Julie

Answered, October 5, 2007

We're pleased to be able to report she is on the road to recovery after suffering paralysis of the hind legs following a spinal stroke. She is now able to stand and walk short distances albeit slowly and wobbly, and has also regained bladder control.  Our vet told us that the outlook was grim as she initially began to deteriorate, but then miraculously she started to regain feeling in her legs. The vet reported that she was "defying the text books".  Thank you for all your help, Mike and Julie.

Puff Kitty

Request, September 18, 2007

I am requesting prayer for my cat, Puff Kitty, who is critically ill. He is only eight years old, but he is close to death. Please put him on your prayer list. The veterinarian has stated that today if he does not respond any better to therapy, it may be time to have him put to sleep. Yet I believe that prayer can also bring about a miracle.  Thanks, again, Niki for everything!  God bless you!  Pam

Answered, October 10, 2007

Thank you so much for your prayers for Puff Kitty. He is miraculously healed, and is doing so much better! My veterinarian said, "Your cat is as dead as a live cat can be!"  I know that God has healed him. Pam

Please pray for my cat, Harry.  The vet said he has aids. Thank you and God bless you.  Clive

Thank you for your prayers. My cat, Harry, had been sick for 10 days. Today we went back to the vets, and Harry is ok.  The vet now says that he doesn't have HIV.  I know that it is because of your prayers that he is healed today.  God bless you and thank you.  Clive

Eddie, a four-year-old German Shepherd I am sponsoring, is in the hospital and just had his third surgery on his right rear leg.  He had this surgery today to replace the grafted bone, but doctors do not seem to be optimistic.  Please pray for a complete recovery without further complications.  Thank you and God Bless. Kim

Answered, June 29, 2007

Eddie had the surgery Thursday.  The surgeon is reportedly happy that things "didn't look that bad" once they went in to remove a small sliver of bone and add another small piece. The healing pace should speed up barring infection and the hospital will consider releasing Eddie to me next week if there are no further complications.   Kim

My kitten, Arwyn, escaped from her crate outside of the vet's office today on her way to get shots and be spayed.  She has never been outside in her life (born in my house).  She tore off into the woods behind the office.  I have been searching a long time for her and she does not come.  Now I just heard that tonight there will be a snowstorm.  This baby has never been anywhere, but a warm laundry basket during a storm.  Please pray that she come back to our home where she is adored. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and bless you all.  Peggy

Answered, June 6, 2007

It is with tremendous gratitude and joy that I am sending you this update.  I hope you will put it on your website so that others may get some hope from it.  Two months ago, I sent you a prayer request for my lost kitten, Arwyn.  She was lost outside of the vet's office, after having never been out of the house in her life.

Well, I am so thrilled to report that thanks to your prayers and the many good people I am blessed to have come in contact with during the course of my search, that Arwyn is now home and curled up on my bed where she belongs!!!  She is thin and scratched up, ( I did not even recognize her) but doing very well considering her adventure. I was not even sure it was really her, but when I brought her in the house, she went right to the bed and curled up in her old spot, purring, and fell asleep.

To grasp the enormity of this miracle, I should mention that this cat was born in my house, and had never been outside in her life.  Also, there was still snow on the ground when she escaped from her crate.  She was lost in a rural, wooded area, full of coyotes, fox, and hawks.  The very night she was lost, there was a major blizzard.  Since that night, there were also two other major storms, and then, just last week, we had a heat wave with temps in the nineties.  The fact that this kitten is still alive is proof of the power of God.

This morning an angel on earth animal lover caught her in a trap a little over half a mile from where she was lost. Without even knowing me, this man was willing to help me, and kept his eye out for my kitten. Several others in our area were also willing to help. I never would have gotten her back without all the prayers and the help of good people.  I want to thank you for this wonderful site, and the links that you provided for me.  They were very helpful, and made quite a difference in my search.

Please get the message out for people not to give up hope.  My kitten was found two months after she was lost.  Don't give up!!! Pray a lot and seek the help of others.  I was about to give up ... the woods are overgrown and impenetrable this time of year, full of ticks and poison ivy.  The heat has been bad, and I did not want to trap another innocent animal in the heat, so I was about to call off the search.  I prayed hard and asked for guidance about what I should do.  Just when I thought I should give up the search, she was found.

I hope someone gets some hope from my story.  I can't thank you all enough.  To those who may have lost a pet: Check out the links from this site... there are some valuable tips that really do help.  Thanks again... and bless you all....from the bottom of my heart!  Peggy

Request, September 20, 2007

My torti cat, Dozer, is 13 years young. There's a couple of issues with her (about which her vet has NOT yet been consulted). Since she's due for her annual check-up and shots in November, I've been putting off having her evaluated for these present concerns. She has recently disliked being picked up, or handled, and sometimes she's a little stiff moving around, although once she gets going, she walks and moves around just fine. She eats well, drinks well, handles her litter box business well, too. But, not wanting to be handled is a new concern, fleas bother her and she cannot tolerate chemicals for that; and there's a small, soft lump under the skin on the back of her right front leg. No limping, she does not seem in pain from the small, pea-sized lump, and when I push on it or press it, she does not care. I'm hoping that is a fatty tumor, and nothing serious. I'm giving her liquid glucosamine drops to improve mobility if that's what the other concern is. I don't know. She just seems to not quite be herself; I believe God will heal WHATEVER is going on with her; WHATEVER is bothering her. I had her checked in April when I was concerned -- her vitals were good then, but she had some fat in her blood. Her diet was changed then. She likes and eats the new food well. My husband is not a believer, and he doesn't like me spending excessively on the cat. I really need the Lord to supernaturally turn my cat around! I pray she's fine and that her November annual check-up will also indicate she's well. I'm sorry I've written so much, but there's much to say. Thanks for praying -- I'm expecting great things from God for Dozer! I love her dearly, and God does, too.  Cheryl

Answered, September 21, 2007

Thanks to the Lord and thanks to all who prayed for my cat, Dozer. I went ahead and took her to her vet this morning; the doc said she has some arthritis and needed a glucosamine supplement. Further, the vet was NOT worried about the little thing under her arm skin -- we're just keeping an eye on it. Also, kitty has gained 2 pounds since April, and that's ok, too!  Miss Dozer Marie is now curled up in a warm bed at home, hoping the morning activities were a bad dream! She gets extra kisses tonight for being a good girl! We also did her annual shots so she wouldn't have to go back in November, when the weather can be damp and chilly. Worked out great! Bless all of you for praying. Our pets are so dear to us, aren't they? Thank You God!  Cheryl

Angelique, my baby, is having a tooth extraction tomorrow...Will you send a little prayer up to Heaven for her? I find so much solace in your site...so glad I read your books and that I found you. So many friends scoff at the idea of animals in Heaven but, thank goodness for you.  I FIRMLY believe that nothing God created ever stops here on earth. My baby and previous babies never wanted anything but love and food, and the love was returned. Thank you so very much...you are such a comfort to me.

Answered, August 22, 2007

Took Angelique to vet today...Miracle of miracle...the tooth did not have to be extracted! Sometime in the last few weeks IT FELL OUT! Can you believe that? He cleaned the teeth and the socket...She does have a bad sinus infection but we have antibiotics for it. THANK YOU for all the prayers...My mom said that for anyone who believes no explanation is necessary, and for those who did not believe no explanation is ever possible...Theresa

Camper

Request, June 30, 2007

Please pray with me for my 5 month old Jack Russell Terrier, Camper. She has been diagnosed of the fatal Parvo virus. Unfortunately, she hasn't received any immunization. She shows very little signs of recovering from the time she was confined in our vet's clinic almost 3 days ago. I'm really scared but I know all things are possible to those who trust in God.   Thank you! Larianne

Answered, July 8, 2007

I would like personally thank you, Niki, for praying and caring for Camper. Camper has been discharged from the vet's clinic yesterday. She's been eating and playing with us already. Again, thank you very much.  Larianne

We are turning to prayer, as we often do, especially in this our time of great need.  Please pray for his safe and healthy return. We miss and love him very much.  Thank you!  Grover's Family

God has answered our prayers!  Grover came home to us on Tuesday night.  He came directly to our back door!  He was dirty and hungry, but happy and healthy.  After something to eat and drink and a nice bath, he curled up for a long nap.  It was as if he had never left.  Thank you for your prayers and the work you do in God's name.  May he continue to bless you and your endeavors.  Grover's Family

Kirby and his sister, Molly, at Halloween

Request, May 28, 2007

Please pray for my little dog, Kirby, to recover, heal, and come back home to his loving family.  He had surgery to remove a bowel obstruction, and he currently is still at the vet's. He won't eat, when he does, he spits it up.  Before he can come home, he must first stabilize, be able to eat and hold it down and use the restroom to show all is well with his stomach.  Your prayers and deep faith are greatly appreciated.  Thanking you and praying for you in return.  Diana

Answered, May 29, 2007

I can't thank all of you enough for all the prayers and thoughts you have sent Kirby's way!  He was able to come home with us the day after I requested prayer to be sent his way.  The doctor said he will make a full recovery.  I've always known prayer to be quite powerful, but when prayers are said by a multitude of caring people it is simply overwhelming.  Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.  Diana

I just found out that one of my babies that I take care of was hit and run over by a 8,000 lb truck.   She is up and is slowly working around to recovery.  She has lost use of her front leg so it drags.  Can't get amputated until more stable.  Please pray for her.  Her name is Molly, a big black Lab.  Betty

Answered, May 19, 2007

I'm happy to report that our prayers are being answered beyond what we'd hoped for, and it now appears that she will not lose the leg.  She is improving every day, and while she is not out of the woods, she is moving about her home without assistance, though is still dragging the leg.  The fact that she is moving is a miracle in itself.  She's happy and feels good, and it is, at least thus far, apparent that God wasn't ready to call her Home just yet.  Thank you. Betty

Please pray for our 2 year old cat Digger. Two weeks ago he had a saddle embolus which caused loss of sensation to his back legs. They also discovered that he had a heart murmur which caused the embolus.  One leg is pink, but the other is in a poor way.  The vet feels that we should amputate his leg or put him to sleep in the next few days.  He is in no pain, he is eating and drinking and enjoying being with the family. Please pray for his full recovery.  Thank you!  Susan

Answered, April 30, 2007

I would like to tell you of Digger's miracle recovery. He was initially seen on the 28th March and was  diagnosed as a saddle thrombus caused by heart disease,.  He had fluid on his lungs, and had a racing heart.  The vet said that he had a poor chance of survival and wanted to put him to sleep. I wanted to give him a chance as he was so young, and not in any discomfort so they (reluctantly) agreed.  He continued to get better although they had to amputate one of his hind legs because the circulation just did not return to the limb, but he was doing really well. Last Friday we went to see a Specialist vet in the city.  He did an ultrasound of his heart, and found that it was normal!!!  He said he had a very faint heart murmur which was very difficult (even for a specialist) to detect.  We have seen our normal vet today to have his sutures removed, and he is amazed at how well he is and the absence of any heart disease. He is now off all his medication!!!!

I know that his full recovery is due to all the prayers that we offered, and the support we received from very good people like yourself. God bless you for everything.  Susan

There is a little dove in my back yard that is sitting on the ground under my rose vine. It apparently cannot fly, as it has been there several days. Please pray for it. Thank you.  Melissa

Answered, April 7, 2007

The same day I first requested prayer for the little dove in my yard (that had been sitting on the ground for several days and apparently was unable to fly), when I came home from work, THE DOVE WAS GONE! I did not find any evidence of a struggle or see any remains (feathers, etc.).  Before sending you the good news, I wanted to wait until later in the the week after my yard man was here to see if he reported seeing anything, but he did not. I believe God heard and answered our prayers and healed the little dove and enabled it to fly away to safety. Thank you so much for your prayers, and for your tender and caring heart for God's creatures. This is such a blessing and a comfort to me. Praise God! Again, thank you.  Melissa

Judy and her cat, Anthony

Request, March 27, 2007

Oh, boy... When it rains, it pours. I haven't seen my sweet little Anthony, who is two, since before I left for church Sunday. He had his shots but isn't neutered and is probably seeking female companionship.  He is the sweetest little fellow.  Please pray for him to come home.  Love, Judy

Answered, March 28, 2007

Look who's home! I had a strong impetus from the Holy Spirit to go outside and there he was! I had searched the neighborhood yesterday, and was about to do so again. Most of the homeowners aren't home during the week so I was waiting for Saturday to really go door to door.  Anthony is totally unharmed and begging to go outside again, unfortunately.  Love, Judy

Thank you. Chjame

Answered, March 28, 2007

Just wanted to let you guys know, when prayers go up, blessings come down.  I got my cat back, safe and sound, after she had been gone for nearly a month.  She is in great health.  She only lost about a pound, and we had to get her shaved because she had become matted after not being groomed for so long.  It was definitely the Lord that sent her back to us.  She is still the same noisy sweetheart that she was before she got out.  Thank you for your prayers. Sincerely, Chjame

Request, March 16, 2007 - Ongoing - about 1 year (trying to help and feed feral cats)

Home Depot kicked me off the property last night when I was feeding the cats.  I sent an email and

got in touch with someone who is willing to help.  However, they can't allow me to feed on the property,

because they have a contract with a pest control company and keeping food on the property

will break that contract.  They want to help in any other way but they don't want me on their property.

There is no other way.  I need to remain on the property.  There is no place else to take the cats.

Someone from a rescue group is calling him right now to take it further.  The cats will starve if they

don't let me back on.  Please pray that they will back down and allow me on the property to put the

feeder up.  Thanks, the cats depend on this prayer.  Carol

Answered, March 20, 2007

Some good news for a change! Praise God and thank you for your prayers in this almost year-long fight for the cats. Home Depot has finally agreed to allow me to set up a wooden feeder at the back of their store so the feral cats that were uprooted from their home next door can finally have a permanent place to eat, and I don't have to sneak onto the property late at night risking getting mugged and going through the stress of trespassing! I got kicked off finally and pursued it, and God worked his miracle!  Home Depot even asked if they could help with the supplies!  God is wonderful!  Carol

My beloved baby cat, Chipotle, escaped through an open window on Tuesday night, 3/13.  We have had no sign since.   We are trying to trap, put food out, etc. with no luck.   We are in the middle of a snowstorm so I am even more anxious and depressed.  I don't know how to go on without him, and I just pray that he comes home safely.  As I said, his name is Chipotle, he is 1 1/2 years old and all-black.   Thank you so much, Chloe

Answered, March 17, 2007

Thank God for the power of prayer!!  Chipotle is back!   We trapped him across the street at our neighbor's house.  After 4 days outside and a foot of snow he is none the worse for wear!   You have no idea the comfort that you have provided to me.   Chloe

Please say a little prayer for my "Mony."  Monroe had heartworm and is heartworm free. I am trying to get insurance for him, and he has to have a few tests today that must fall in the normal range before they will consider him.  Please pray they will be normal.  Also, a little lump appeared on his side on his ribcage and I think it is a fatty tumor, but one can never tell for sure until they aspirate and examine under the microscope. Please pray that it is benign. Blessings, Lynn

Answered, March 12, 2007

Monroe's "bump" has "deflated" to barely there!   Whether it was a hematoma and succumbed to the  aspiration needle or whether it was all the wonderful prayers -- I am praising God for it!  Now, he is faithfully following his antibiotic routine of 1000 mg a day to blast out the inflammation.

Thank you, Niki!  I appreciated your suggestions and will have a look.  I have had your wonderful book, There Is Eternal Life For Animals for a couple of years now and I just love it!  Thank you for your obedience in writing it!  I have referred many to your website who are grieving and recommended your book.Blessings, Lynn

Here's a real lesson on the importance of second opinions and not being too hasty to put a pet down!  We Praise God for His healing power!

Please pray for Angie -- she has been at the animal hospital in ER for two days.  She is only 7, but she has liver problems. There is a mass on the x-ray which may be cancerous. We are having an ultrasound tomorrow. She is hooked up to an IV and looks so sad. We are bringing Angie home at 8 tonight to be with us, and back to the doctor at 10 a.m. Please pray for her. I miss her so much already. Sue

Answered, August 26, 2006

The emergency vet told us twice to put Angie down ---- he was 95% sure she had liver cancer and he saw a mass that was an inoperable tumor.  I took her home and she is fine today (on daily meds) ---- I almost put her to sleep.  Our vet did an ultrasound ---- no mass, no tumor, no cancer---only a healthy liver.  I went on-line to find out what she had --- someone told me to check for Addison's.  The first vet said it was not Addison's---to put the dog to sleep.  I kept praying with Angie---our vet checked ---- it was Secondary Addison's- --- very treatable --- and that was what I prayed for--that she would not have an inoperable liver tumor---that it would be something treatable -- I am so thankful that I did not put her to sleep.  Sue

My cat, Kadi, who will be 16 Feb. 1st, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism.  I am asking for prayer for her healing.  Jo-Ann

Answered, February 7, 2007

A few weeks ago I wrote and asked for prayers for my cat, Kadi, who has hyperthyroidism, and whom the vet was concerned about since she had lost some weight and her heart rate was fast.  He had recommended that we bring her back in two to three weeks for a re-check and to have labs drawn. Upon our visit to the vet we found that her weight had remained the same, and her heart rate was improved. The vet had complete blood work done including thyroid and cholesterol, and all readings were within normal range.  Praise the Lord and thank you for your prayers!  I have read some of the prayers and tips about praying for a pet on your site and found them helpful.  Kadi is underweight as many hyperthyroid cats are, but celebrated her sixteenth birthday on February 1, 2007. Continued prayers are appreciated, and I am praying for all the animals who need prayer and their humans, too.  Thank you and God bless you and all who pray for all the animals.  Jo-Ann

Audra and her Mommy

Request, January 2, 2007

I am writing to request your support in prayer for my puppy.  Her name is Audra and she is only 6 weeks old.  She is an English Bulldog and is still with the breeder.  We were going to pick her up the 1st week of February.  I just got an email from our breeder, who is in West Virginia and she informed us that our little girl is fighting pneumonia.  I would like whatever support in prayer you can offer her/us.  Thank you very much,

AnnaLysa & Gary

Please pray for Rascal who had a bad pancreatitis attack in May, and went down to 21 lbs. from his normal weight of 40-43 lbs.  Thank you.  Dee

Answered, January 27, 2007

I know it's been a year already, but I wanted to let you know that God does truly hear our prayers.  Rascal had a bad pancreatitis attack in May, and went from his normal 40-43 lb weight down to 21.2 lb when he came out of the hospital. He had been losing weight for about a year already and was down to 26-27 before he went in. The doctor told me to feed him whenever he wanted because it wouldn't hurt. He could use the extra weight. But he said to face it, he'll never be the picture of health again.  Just wanted to let you know that when I took him to the vet to pick up his meds which he takes daily, I put him on the scale. This was at New Year's. He weighed in at 40 lb. And he has his energy back.  I am so thankful for the prayers and for what God has done for him.  Thank you.  Dee

I have a 9-year-old golden retriever named Reggie. He has been diagnosed with advanced diabetes and his kidneys are failing. Could please pray for him? He is my best friend, and I can't loose him. I would appreciate it so much. Thank you, and God bless you. Erin

Answered, January 2, 2007

Thank you for your prayers!  My Reggie it seems has been blessed with a miracle, and I contribute that to all who have prayed for him.  His glucose is within 90 pts. of normal, and his kidney function has improved.  He will be coming home to me tomorrow.  Thank you again for your prayers Thank you again and God Bless!  Erin

Request, December 22, 2006

I am writing to you because I believe in the power of prayer, and that God cares for all of his creatures. I have a small three year old schnoodle (schnauzer & poodle mix), whose left ear was wounded when she visited a new groomer this pass December 12th. I feel really badly because I was not there for her, and although the groomer says it was just a little nick, as time passed and the ‘quick’ that was put on the cut came off this does not appear to be the case. {The edge of the ear seems to have been damaged – it is jagged, and hair even seems to be growing on a piece of loose skin.} I am praying for a miracle, that my dog’s healthy ear would be restored. Thank you for caring. Nikki says thanks as well. Carol

Answered, December 25, 2006

My dog’s ear is now fine. Today Christmas Day, my husband cleaned the ear and it is healed and whole. It was the best Christmas Gift I got.  Many Thanks, Carol

Amos is having problems adjusting to the young children in his new home. My husband and I have tried to socialize him with children by introducing him to some of the neighborhood kids. He's not aggressive toward his new children, just afraid of them. I am afraid that this is my fault because I didn't socialize him enough with kids.  Please pray with me, that Amos understands that his new children are not going to hurt him and that he is safe, that he adjusts to them soon, that his new family be calm, patient and loving with him, and give him the time that he needs to become the wonderful loving creature that I know him to be.  God Bless, Sam

Answered, December 21, 2006

The prayers are helping, I just know it!  Here are two excerpts from emails sent by the family who adopted Amos and the rescue representative that I have been working with . These emails were sent to me on December 19, 2006:  "Thanks, he is doing much better.  The girls just need to learn to approach him a little slower.  They have been giving him treats and it seems to help.  He and Kota our other dog are best buddies now.  He is such a sweet dog."  "Looks like everything is going much better!!  YAY!!"  Thank you and God Bless!  Sam

I need urgent prayer for my horse, Peyton. He has a large swelling on one side of his stomach, and his shealth is swollen and around it. The vet gave me pain medicine/anti-inflammatory and anti-biotics today. Thank you so much! I will send you updates. Lynn

Answered, December 13, 2006

The vet put him on some medicine and I did some water therapy. He is totally well now. It took a while for one of his swellings to go away. The vet recently checked him and he has a clean bill of health. Thank you for praying and thank you God!  Thanks so much! Lynn

PLEASE pray for my little dachshund, Nicky. He has an enlarged lymph node on his neck. The vet performed an aspiration biopsy on the node and the results should be in tomorrow. PLEASE pray that the Lord will heal Nicky and that we will receive a good report from the vet tomorrow. Thank you so much. God bless you and your family. Deb

Answered, December 7, 2006

Thank you for praying for Nicky. The vet called with the biopsy results: NO CANCER!!! They said it was some kind of inflammatory response. Anyway, I was told to continue to give him the antibiotics and they'd call me in five days to see how he is doing!  BTW, the lump is now about half the size it was!!! Praise God! Thank you again for praying for Nicky and for the wonderful web site you created.  God bless you and your family. Deb

Joey

Request, September 18, 2006

I requested prayer for my cat, Joey Shanahan.  Today I noticed that he didn't seem to be himself.  He was drooling on one side of his mouth.  He didn't have a good appetite either, which is very unusual for Joey, and he seemed rather under the weather.  Niki Behrikis Shanahan

Answered, September 22, 2006

We took Joey to the vets and they could not see anything wrong with him that would be causing the drooling or unusual behavior.  They did blood work, which was fine, and examined him, particularly looking in his mouth to see if they could see anything wrong.  After a day or two, I remembered that I had given him a Heartgard pill the night before he got sick.  I usually cut it up and put it in his canned food.  Most of the time he doesn't finish his canned food, because he is partial to dry food, but this night he ate all of it.  It occurred to me that it had to be that pill.  Even though Joey is an indoor cat, I had been giving him the monthly pill in the warm weather as an extra precaution.  And since he usually doesn't finish his food, this may have been the first time that he had the full pill.  I looked this product up on the internet and found that some dogs, particularly collie dogs, had adverse reactions to Heartgard.  Some dogs had even died from it!  Within a couple of days he was much better, and by the end of the week, Joey was totally back to normal. No drooling, eating good, and back to normal.   I thank God for Joey's healing.  Niki Behrikis Shanahan

Request, October 13, 2006

We just received word that Mia, our sweet indoor cat, tested positive for FIP. We are devastated. I cannot stop crying. The vet wonders if Amanda has it as well since they both had elevated liver issues. That means sweet baby Alex, who I got after Larry passed, may be infected too. Mia is being retested, but the vet feels she probably has it. Please, please send urgent prayers for my little girl in hopes that they may be wrong. With everything else going on, I cannot believe this is happening. I am absolutely distraught.  Sarah

Answered, November 1, 2006

Thank you Niki for your loving prayers. Mia is doing quite well. We obtained a second opinion on Mia, and the new vet does not think she has FIP. We were *so* relieved. However, Mia is being treated now for Bartenella, the cat scratch fever bacteria. She still has a ways to go on recovering, but seems to be doing pretty well for now.  Thank you again. Sarah

I have a feral cat (the last one) that I am going to try and trap on Monday morning.   My vet has agreed to work her into his surgery schedule, test her, worm her, deflea her and hold her for a few days until I can get my room ready for her post-op recovery.  I already have 7 cats (3 of the feral) and they have all adjusted beautifully.  All the ferals have been kittens when I brought them in.  This will be my first adult feral cat.  She has been reluctant to go into the trap (she has seen so many of her brothers and sisters and kids get trapped).  However, this weekend I am trying to get her to go in the trap (I have it set not to go off until Monday morning) and fill it full of food, so that she won't think anything is wrong and then when she goes in Monday morning for her breakfast, I hope to have her.  I just need an extra prayer for this precious little gift from God.  She is all alone and desperately needs to find a home.  If she doesn't she will be added to mine.  Again, thank you for your time and your prayers for Sweetie.  Susan

Answered, October 23, 2006

I wanted to let you know that the feral cat Sweetie that I asked prayer for was trapped this a.m. and went to my vet.  She had her surgery this p.m., is doing fine, is staying overnight at the vets office and then will be finding permanent residence in my home tomorrow.  Thank you again for your prayers and I did buy the book you recommended.  Thank you so much.  Susan

Request, October 25, 2006

Could you please pray for my dog Charlotte. She was rushed to the animal hospital in the late hours after a loss of appetite all day and other symptoms such as frequent thirst, lethargy... We are not sure what is causing her problems at this stage but fear the worse. She is currently on a drip to help boost her energy levels.  Thank-you for your prayers.  Rose

Answered, November 3, 2006

Thank-you for your prayers, it must have worked! It was discovered that Charlotte didn’t have a tumor.  She still has a serious condition, canine diabetes, but it is manageable with daily insulin shots.  Now she has left the animal hospital after almost 5 days. She seems to be getting back to her old self oblivious to her condition.  Once again thanks for your thoughts and prayers.  Rose

Obi

Request, September 7, 2006

I am writing to ask you to pray for my dog Obi again. Last year she had the cancer in her mouth and the vet did get it all out and it hasn't come back, but now she seems to have a problem with her right kneecap which caused her to hurt her back when she went up or down the stairs. The vet prescribed cortisone and she seems to be better but not 100%. Please pray that God will heal her knee and her back completely and also that she might lose some weight which doesn't help the problem. Please pray that I won't give in to her big brown eyes and feed her more than she should have, especially treats!  Thank you again for your prayers.   Joan

Answered, September 19, 2006

Just a note to thank you for all your prayers for Obi. After a round of medication (and being waited on hand and foot), she is now back to normal. I do believe though that it was the Great Physician's touch that healed her. She's running again and going up and down stairs. I thank my Lord for healing her and thank you again for the prayers.  In His love, Joan

Answered, September 15, 2006

THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS! They WORKED! Missy's biopsies have come back normal! It was a diaphragmatic hernia that caused her enlarged spleen and lesion on her liver. She is still on IV fluids but has started to eat both canned and dry! THANK you SO VERY much!  Heidi

Earl

Request, July 28, 2006

Please pray for my cat, Earl. The Dr. is not sure what is wrong, but it seems to be a digestive problem. He is 8 years old, and we are very attached to him, as we are to our other pets. They are members of the family.

Thank you, Shirley

Request, May 19, 2006

In recent days the animal shelter in our community has become filled with cats that need a new home.  Some have been injured and some have found themselves displaced after tornadoes ripped through our city.  I have been trying to organize ways to help them and have started to pray for them.  I do not get the support from fellow Christians that I thought I would. Please agree with me in prayer that these cats and dogs would begin to find good homes.  That the media would answer my request to bring their plight to the public and that people would have a burden in their hearts to re-home these poor animals. I thank you for your prayers. Roxanne

Answered, May 22, 2006

Just a note, I checked and five cats found new homes over the weekend and another injured cat was given medical attention instead of putting it down. Thanks for your prayers!  Roxanne

Answered, June 5, 2006

Niki, I had a local news program respond to my request to cover the Shelter and its over full condition. They did and the result was new homes for 11 cats and 6 dogs plus financial donations. I am also getting some support from my church as they realize the importance of being involved in the community.  At the shelter, I have met and visited with young people there doing community service hours. So it is a win- win situation for every one. Than you for encouragement and prayers. One person's efforts can make a difference. Roxanne

Answered, June 16, 2006

Niki, another update since June 1st the shelter has found homes for over 20 cats and 12 dogs they have also had a good response to financial support donations.  Roxanne

Answered, July 5, 2006

Just wanted to say thank you so much for praying for our cat, Hillbilly. I'm proud to announce that she is safely back at home and in our arms!  Just two days after I contacted you, I came home to find her sitting in the neighbors yard looking at me as if to ask "what took you so long?."  I pray that everyone else who has asked for prayers has them answered soon and with the same wonderful outcome we have experienced.

Please pray for Julie.  This is a life and death situation as she has been diagnosed with a failed liver.  However, I believe in the mercies of God and I know he will restore her she is very special to me and we lover her dearly.  Julie turned one on December 25th.  I received a ray of hope this morning – I need that hope to continue.  She took a turn this p.m.  Kathy

Request, April 20, 2006

Please pray for my dog "Baby", a small tan lab approximately 6 years old, several weeks ago she stopped eating and going to the bathroom like she should. (Practically not at all) We have reason to believe that she might have eaten something that she shouldn't have. Like a piece of plastic bag.

All I could afford to do at the time were basic x-rays and they didn't show any foreign bodies which was quite a relief just that she had her large intestine stopped up and that as they feared they didn't pick up anything more like plastic.

They warned me it might not but that was all I could do and I wanted to make sure there wasn't another problem.  I got medicine from the vet and have done a lot of praying that she can pass or be healed of whatever it is.  I am trying to get her in tomorrow to have barium x-rays done. I'm taking her to a different place that will do them cheaper.  She has done surprisingly well until just recently. Now she's getting very weak and having trouble even keeping water down.

Please pray for strength, comfort and complete healing for her. And that she might not need surgery.  Although she's weak now she's done so well for so long I believe its God's intention for her to be completely healed.  Your prayers would mean so much to me.  Tim

Answered, April 23, 2006

I wanted to thank you for praying for my dog, "Baby". I was fearful that she was going to die on Thursday and Friday.  Either we were wrong or God completely healed her of the other issue, because; they said that she wasn't backed up at all and that It didn't have anything to do with something she ate. She had a uterus infection, kidney infection, urinary infection possible problems with liver and maybe brain damage.

She was very bad and they weren't painting a pretty picture at all. I was repeatedly told by several people that they were sure she wouldn't make it. I told them that we have be praying and that she is strong and we have a different opinion. That she hasn't given up and neither have I.  They said that she had to have an immediate operation to remove her uterus that was completely filled with puss but that she would surely die. I told them she wouldn't.  They called after she woke up Friday to tell me she did "fine" and "good" during her surgery seeming surprised. And that her uterus had not ruptured.

I got to visit with her briefly on Saturday where she tried to sit up I think she thought she was coming with me and I said no I'll see you later and she laid back down. She knew what that meant and I think was relived that she didn't have to do anything. :)They are closed today but they called me to tell me that she hasn't eaten yet but they don't expect it for a while she's still on IV but that she is doing so well that they don't think they can keep her much longer. She's trying to move around to much and that they already walked her and will probably have to again she's so restless. :)  I am hoping to bring her home tomorrow but I am also continuing to pray for protection for her from infection but I wanted to thank you so much for your prayers and that I will also pray for you.  I thank God for this miracle.  Tim

That he does NOT have heart problems or anything else wrong and that the open mouth panting was just a fluke.  He is ONLY not quite 2 years old and too young to live on limited exercise!  PLEASE ask God to make him be just fine!  Heidi

Answered, April 7, 2006

I am sorry to be so long to get back to you but, Panther needed an x-ray to see how his lungs were and if he had a tumor in him.  Vet says he is FINE! His coughing is either light asthma or allergies. I plan on cleaning out my vacuum COMPLETELY and then vacuuming each room a bunch of times. THEN I will rent a carpet STEAM machine and clean the carpet WITHOUT chemicals, and hopefully, that will stop the coughing!  Heidi

Molly

Request, March 10, 2006

We just came from the Vets office and our dog Molly isn't doing well, she is really, really sick.  She is only 4 years old and last weekend she started throwing up and couldn't eat. We took her to the Vet and she finally passed part of a little rubber ball that she had swallowed. Since then its been down hill. She is on an IV constantly and is unable to eat or even keep water down and nobody can figure out what is wrong with her. They say if she is not better by Monday, 3/13/06 that we should consider putting her down. We are really upset, she is like part of our family. Please pray for her that she will be healed and return to the normal, playful, energetic and loving dog that she was.  John

Answered, March 13, 2006

Yesterday, Sunday, March 12th, Molly just moped around the house and didn't show any signs of activity at all.  She was still a pretty sick little dog.  Today I came home from work and she met me at the front door wagging her tail and shortly thereafter saw the cat and chased her a little.  We took her to the Vet this evening, and she hasn't lost any weight and is showing signs of improvement.  She doesn't want to eat much yet but the Doc says to put a tiny bit at a time in her mouth or rub it under her nose so that she has to lick it off.  I believe your prayers and ours have been working.  She has a long way to go and she isn't out of the woods by any means but we can see some light in the tunnel.  Thank You so much for your concern and your prayers.  We are praying right along with you for all the animals.  Take care and God Bless, I will keep writing to let you know how things are going.   John

Update, April 6, 2006

Wonderful news.....Molly is back to normal.  Thank You all for your prayers!  Our Vet calls Molly the miracle dog.  I am sending along her picture so that you can see what she looks like.  If you saw her then and saw her now you'd never believe that she is the same dog.  We are still praying along with you for all the other animals.  We were so sad, we thought we were going to lose her and so did the three Vets that looked at her.  Again Thank You all!  God Bless!  John

Request, February 20, 2006

Our 4 year old basset hound, Suzie, has had a large lump under her neck.  She has been on prednisone, but the lump has returned.  The vet did a cytoplasm slide and has sent it off.  She said the slide will give us more info. We should have the results tomorrow.  Suzie has the sweetest spirit of any dog I have ever had.  Her pleasure is to please us and give us her unconditional love. My husband and my three children, 19, 22 and 25 have all prayed individually and separately for Suzie. I have asked some close friends who are animal lovers to pray for her also.

We are taking her to Texas A&M University Animal Medical Center tomorrow for an appointment and are taking her records.  PLEASE  PRAY FOR OUR SUZIE.  Bless you for the hope and help you offer through your website. We are believing God is able and will hear our prayers! Thank YOU!  Peggy

Answered, February 22, 2006

Thanks so much for your email.  Suzie was diagnosed yesterday by the vets @ A&M University with a abscessed salivary gland!!! No cancer!  They lanced her lump, and put a drain in it.  She should recover nicely.  PRAISE GOD AND YOUR PRAYERS!  Your website was such a comfort to me.  I found  your site from the GOOGLE search engine when I searched for animal prayers and healing.  Thanks again.  Peggy

Request, February 27, 2006

Please join me in prayer for my precious Famous as I take him to the vet  today.  Please pray that our sweet Lord will guide the hands of the vet, and that Famous will be healed completely.  Famous is a little black cat who I took into my life thinking that I really couldn't afford him with the other two cats I already had. He has been a blessing beyond imagination, and a true gift from God. He has been sick since Friday and now will not eat. There seems to be something wrong with his mouth. The first vet misdiagnosed him, so please pray that the vet I am about to call in a half hour will accept him immediately and that treatment will be effective and cost efficient.  Thank you.  Beverly

Answered, February 28, 2006

Famous was taken in quickly by the doctor, diagnosed and operated on yesterday.  He is

expected to make a full recovery.  Thank you so very much and God Bless You and your readers and all of your pets!!  Beverly

Request, February 26, 2006

Could you please pray for my nephew's cat, Rocky, who had surgery at the University of PA this morning for a blockage and maybe a tear.  Now the doctors are saying that he should be OK, but they still have a catheter in him and are still looking for a tear.  I have read your books because I lost my little dog Cuddles, and you helped me so much.  My sister asked me if I would ask you to pray for her son's cat, and I know you will.  Thank you so much in advance.  Rita

Answered, February 28, 2006

So far so good.  I just heard from the doctor, and he is doing well.  All his blood work came back within normal limits.  My son went to see him yesterday, and he said he looked great for just having had surgery one day prior.  He was purring!  He said the nurses and techs love him.   Rita

Request, January 12, 2006

I have a request for a little dog here in NH.  I read an article in our local paper last night about a beagle, I believe, who arrived in NH at the local shelter. He was placed with a new owner just the other day. On his way to his new home, the vehicle he was riding in with his new family was involved in an accident, and somehow the dog went missing. He is very frightened as he had been through a lot before arriving here. I'll believe with you that he will be located and soon. Thanks for your caring heart and concern for God's furry creatures.  Ruth

Answered, January 14, 2006

I have wonderful news about the little lost dog. Her name is Louise, and she was found on Friday not far from the scene of the accident on the prior Sunday.  She is only 8 months old and was hiding in the brush of someone's backyard. When the home owner heard a noise, he thought it was a fox but soon discovered the little Beagle. He called the Humane Society and they arrived with a blanket and some food and a dog trap. When her name was called by the gal who had cared for her she came running and immediately snuggled. I guess there were tears everywhere. The new home she was on her way to when she got lost was called, and they will be taking her again this week. She will be spending a few days at the Humane Society to be checked over by a vet and reacquainted with that environment before going to her new owners.

I thought of the verse in the Bible that says something to the effect that ..."Before you call.....I will answer." That's what happened in this case and I'm so glad I can share the good news with you.  Ruth

Hazel

Request, January 24, 2006

Could you please pray for Hazel, who is a 2 y/o rescued Bullmastiff girl?  She is going to surgery on 1/25 for removal of a mammary tumor and spaying.  It is not known if the tumor is benign or malignant.  Carol

Answered, January 30, 2006

Niki, got the results of the pathology report today.  The mass was predominately benign, but there were some "pre-cancerous" cells.  The vet. surgeon did a very wide excision, and just recommends that she be checked twice a year for any further growths in that area.  It's very possible she will not have a recurrence.  The rescue person who is fostering her said he has many, many applications for a permanent home for her, irregardless of the biopsy results.

That's such a blessing!  She's eating well, gaining weight, and one very happy girl.  She was abandoned in an apartment in New York and left to starve...a neighbor heard her barking and knew the owners had moved, so she called my friend who rescues Bullmastiffs.  Looks like God has blessed her with the best from here on in.  Thanks so much for your caring and your prayers!  Carol

Bleu and Janae

Request, November 3, 2005

Please pray for my dog, Bleu, that her tests come back that is something not life-threatening and treatable.  She is my 4 year old English sheepdog, and was having wheezing problems.

I got the great news yesterday that Bleu’s blood tests came back normal!  It seems she has a severe case of bronchitis—I am just getting over pneumonia—so both of us have had similar sicknesses.

Thank you so much for your prayers and I will check out your link on you site and pass it on to all my other friends who are animal lovers.  God Bless You and you pets!!!!!!!!!!! Janae

Request, October 20, 2005

Molly, my 9 year old border collie mix was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma, intermediate grade, which is considered incurable and ultimately fatal.  We chose not to have the chemo therapy done because the oncologist could not promise any extended lifespan. Even though the oncologist said that she would have one month without the treatment, it has been over 9 weeks, and she is doing extremely well. We are so heartbroken because she looks great, acts great, but she will ultimately die from this, and soon according to the oncologist. I never thought about asking for prayers for Molly, even though I am a Christian and pray for her and others. I guess I thought it too selfish.  Well, I love my Molly and she is such a big hearted dog. She deserves a peaceful exit and I refuse to let her suffer, even a little bit. I don't know what I am asking for since this is supposed to be fatal, a MIRACLE????  Lu Ann

Answered, December 8, 2005

I have such WONDERFUL news! As you know, Molly, was diagnosed with lympho sarcoma, intermediate grade, as a result of a biopsy on an very small pencil eraser tip sized growth on her lip. We went to the oncologist who said we would need to immediately start chemo therapy etc. to the tune of $4,500, but that it was fatal and there was no guarantee that she would live very long after, or even survive through the process. We opted not to put her through the grueling treatment since the prognosis was grim. The oncologist gave her a month. Well, my kids and I have been praying for Molly, as well your wonderful prayer group and we got our miracle today!

Molly has been doing extremely well for a dog that had been given a death sentence by the oncologist.  It's been 4 months since I saw the oncologist (who by the way was somewhat irritated with me for not wanting to do the chemo). Since then, Molly has not shown any signs of slowing down and has not had any growths. People who knew she was terminal kept asking if perhaps a mistake had been made.  I decided to take Molly in for a checkup with our regular vet. He felt all over for lumps, couldn't find any, and said that the oncologist must be really pleased with the progress Molly was making. I said we weren't seeing the oncologist. He felt that since the growth on her lip had not returned, that perhaps, somehow, we had caught the cancer.

He did a blood test and called me with the results today.  No sign of anything amiss. God never ceases to amaze me with his grace. He ALWAYS answers my prayers, yet I hadn't really thought about asking to heal Molly until I saw your web site and book.  God bless you for praying for my Molly. We are doing a happy dance as I write this.  Lu Ann

Maggie, my 1-year-old female Border Collie mix was lost during an evening walk. Please pray for her health and safety, and that she will be returned to me very soon.  Thank you. Dustan

Answered, October 18, 2005

I wanted to write you back to thank you… with your prayer and those of a few other friends, Maggie was returned to me.  She had wandered a couple miles last Friday night, and was found by a very nice lady on Saturday.  Via our local police department, my report of Maggie being lost was matched up with the lady’s report to the Police.  The Police contacted me yesterday, and I had Maggie back home by afternoon.  God bless the Police Department and the lady who found and cared for Maggie… her name is Diane.  Again, thank you for your prayers!!!!   Dustan

Obi

Request, October 20, 2005

I just took my dog Obi to the vet because of a lump growing on her lower gum. Obi is part longhaired Dachshund and a real cutie. She is six years old and I do love her so much. The vet said she needed her teeth cleaned and she would tend to the lump at that time (Sept.13, 2005). She told me she didn't think it was cancerous, and not to worry, but would know more when she did the procedure. Please pray that Obi will be OK and that the lump is not cancerous.   Joan

Answered, October 20, 2005

I've been meaning to get back to you for some time, and thank you for the prayers for Obi. She is doing well and I don't see any sign of the cancer anywhere else in her mouth. I will just have to watch. I believe God has healed her completely and I thank Him for that. He has answered our prayers.  Again, thank you.  Joan

P.S. I have read your book and it has really changed my whole outlook on animals and eternal life. I always believed that they were included in the "every creature" quotes from the Bible and your research just added to that clarification. Thank you.  Joan

Request, October 20, 2005

I would like you to please pray for my male cat Bucky. He has a respiratory problem that doesn't seem to go away with the antibiotics the vet gave me.  He sneezes a lot and coughs quite often, too.  It sounds as if a hairball is ready to come out but nothing happens. Also my female cat Coochie Coo has developed similar symptoms, but not quite as severe as Bucky.  I strongly believe in the power of prayer for all of God's creatures. Please keep them in your prayers. I have faith that they will be well and I declare it in Jesus' name. Walesca

Answered, October 21, 2005

Thank you so much for responding to my email. I must say it was a pleasant surprise.   Bucky and Coochie Coo are doing so much better today--praise God! Thank you for praying for their healing. He truly is an awesome God! I read your article "How To Pray" and will make sure I keep a copy by my bedside and at work, too.  I will inform all my family members and friends about your wonderful web site so they can be inspired too. There are a lot of pet parents who do not know your web site exists. I will make sure I spread the word. I ordered your book Animal Prayer Guide and will read it along with There Is Eternal Life for Animals. Thank you for writing such inspirational books.  I know I'm going to enjoy reading them. Keep doing God's work and spreading the love and joy you have for animals. May God continue to bless you and your family (including the fur kids). Once again thank you for your prayers.  Walesca

Kristi's boxer, Scotch

My boxer puppy, Scotch, was stolen from our yard today.  He is only 2 months old, and I know he is afraid and misses us greatly.  I hope he is safe and no one is abusing him.  Please pray for a safe return home for him because I miss him so much.  He is just the greatest little dog.   Kristi

PLEASE  pray he only has a viral infection, recovers fully, and does not pass anything on to my others!  Heidi

Answered, August 30, 2005

Panther is NOW OK!  He recovered from his Calici virus and then started gulping down cups of water.  I was terrified for kidney disease or diabetes, BUT blood and urinalysis tests show him to be fine!   I am OVERJOYED and wish I could hug God for HIS kindness! Heidi

Please pray for Benji and Kotton tomorrow as they go to the vet.  For Benji that they find no  CRF, and for Kotton that there's no cancer!  Heidi

Answered, September 10, 2005

Thank you so much for your Prayers for Benji and Kotton!   I just found out Benji's kidney levels are normal, and the new vet says it was probably him becoming hypothyroid that caused them to go up!

KOTTON did NOT have a cancerous tumor!  She had a cyst that popped when the vet went to aspirate it.   I am weak with relief and happiness.  Thanks so very truly much for your Prayers!   Heidi

Kaya and her lovely feline sister, Yoshi

Request, August 23, 2005

I am in desperate need of some support and prayer for my dog, Kaya, a 10 year old tan / white American Staffordshire who is going to have surgery today. She has been vomiting for the past few weeks and yesterday the vet found out by doing ultra sound, that she has some kind of liver illness. He can't really say what exactly it is, it could be cancer or it could be just a symptom that occurs with older dogs which would be easily treatable. Now he said that there is a slight chance that during the surgery he will find out that her condition is so bad that he has to put her to sleep. I am very scared. She is such a special, loving and energetic dog. Everybody who meets her falls in love with her right away. The news came so out of the blue and I hope so much that she will be healthy again. I would be very very thankful if you could pray for her health and strength. It would mean so much to me!! Nadine

Answered, August 25, 2005

Thank you so so much for your prayers and support!! The surgery yesterday went very well, and Kaya is recovering now.  It turned out that she had swallowed a corn cob that got stuck in her digestive system! They are doing a liver biopsy because they found some irregularities on the liver...but the vet said that he doesn't think it's anything serious. I pray that the results will be good! Kaya is still very weak and in pain from the surgery. But I can see that her old spirit is back! Tomorrow she can come home...I'm so thrilled! I'm convinced you help a lot with your good faith and prayers. I'm so thankful and speechless!! Nadine

Answered, September 23, 2005

Obi had her surgery on Tuesday Sept. 13. My vet called on the 16th to tell me that it was cancer called plasmacytoma. She told me it was not a bad report, and that she got it all out as well as four teeth.  She told me not to worry about it, but to just watch to see that it doesn't come back somewhere else. Obi is doing well and I do believe that the Lord has healed her. I believe He has heard our prayers and I thank you for praying for Obi.  Joan

Please pray for the healing of my 9 yr old grey tabby cat, Eddie, that whatever ailment is causing him to be lethargic, it can be successfully treated with medication.  Also, that the blood work being done will come out negative, showing nothing major or fatal. Rosalie

Answered, September 28, 2005

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!! Eddie is completely healed. We have no idea (and neither does the vet) what caused him to feel lethargic and listless without an appetite. However, all of his blood tests came out negative, and he's back to his perky self. And who says miracles don't happen! Thank you so very much for all your prayers and best wishes. Rosalie

My cat, Jellybean, came up missing this morning.  We think he may have snuck out the door when one of us was either coming or going and we didn't notice it.  Some kids in our neighborhood found a cat I believe to be Jellybean last night, but their mom made them take him out of the house.  He has not been seen since.  I have posted a flyer with is picture and my phone number and offer of reward if found.

He is a tabby cat and is very friendly.  He is definitely one-of-a-kind.  We love him very much and I am very worried about him.  I'm not sure of his age, but he must be at least 10 years old.  Could you please pray for his safety and that he might find his way home soon. Janice

Answered October 12, 2005

Thank you for your prayers.  They worked!  One of the neighborhood kids brought my baby home to me this morning! Janice

I recently brought my beloved 6-year-old domestic shorthair cat named George to the vet for blood tests that were required before he could undergo minor surgery. The vet called back and said the surgery could not be done because George's white blood cell count was lower than normal. I went to a different vet for a second opinion and he said George's white blood cell count was slightly low. He was retested today and the count was even lower. The vet suspects that George may have an autoimmune disease that is attacking his white blood cells, or his bone marrow may not be producing enough white blood cells. If the count drops further or stays low George could succumb to an infection or cancer.  Allan

Answered August 11, 2005

Just had to write you today to tell you the good news.  My cat George's blood work today returned from the animal pathologist showing a "low end normal" white blood cell count. Everything else shows normal as well.   I cannot tell you how thankful I am for your help. I do believe that God took pity on this gentle creature, and eased my pain and worry.  All I had to do was ask for help, and it was there.  Allan

We just took our little Maltese to the vet today, and he said that he had a tumor that could not be removed.  I believe it can be removed through the work of the LORD.  Please, please help me to pray for this tumor to just be dissolved so that I can have him to love for a while longer. He is just like a child to me, and I really do not know what I will do without him.  Iva

Answered August 2, 2005

Thank the LORD in HEAVEN, and Thanks to all of you for your Prayers!  My little Maltese was just lying here the day before yesterday, and I noticed that his side where the tumor is looked like it was bleeding.  I picked him up and started cleaning him up, and putting medicine on it.  Then this tumor just started draining out, and the swelling went down completely!  PRAISE God it is gone -- even the vet could not believe it.  The only thing I can do now is just say Thank you, Lord, each and every day!  Thank you, too, and GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS.   Iva

Rocky, my 12-year-old German Shepherd/Husky wandered away from our new house after we moved.  He is a very old dog and has trouble moving.  I suspect he is trying to work his way back to our old house, about 60 miles away.  I love this dog so much, and believe that the power of prayer can bring him back to me.  Please prayer very hard for my dog.
Thank you, Nick

Answered July 19, 2005

Thank you so much for your support and prayers in finding my beloved Rocky.  I went to the shelter everyday since his disappearance, and the last time I was there I was ready to give up hope.  Rocky was found wandering on the side of the rode, and thankfully was picked up by the local animal control.  I thank you so much because I know the power of prayer brought him home, and your prayers were part of that.  I picked him up today.  He was happy to see me, as I was happy to see him.   Thank you, Nick

Please pray for my cat Missy. We adopted her from the SPCA.  A couple years later they found heart disease. (Just before this past Christmas.)

Her heart valves aren't working right, and water builds up around her heart. It has to be drained every 2 weeks. As she continues to weaken, the vet said it will have to be done more frequently, and then it'll be time to put her to sleep.

I believe in miracles, and that Jesus is well able to perform a recreative miracle for her. Will you prayer for, and in agreement for her?  Agape, Pamela

Update, May 20, 2005

I wrote you recently that my Missy (cat) has heart disease and asked you to stand with me for a miracle. She went in for her procedure today, and they drained less water than in a very long time! Less than a cup. The vet said not to bring in her in again for 21 days as opposed to every 13-15 days.

I am standing on the Word of God for a recreative miracle. Please stand with me. Glory to God and thank you for your faith, which you built up and for your ministry.  Pamela

Update, June 15, 2005

We took her in today, and like a miracle, NO WATER BUILD UP.  AND THE VET SAID HER HEART SOUNDED BETTER THAN EVER. She put on a healthy pound.

Please continue to stand with me for a complete miracle, where Missy will never need another drug or procedure. I have the faith, and I know you and your team does too.  Pamela

Update, June 22, 2005

Thanks so much for checking in.  It's miraculous to us.  She is breathing normally ... still.  She is running and playing outside similar to last year, perhaps a little slower.

The new drug is, of course, is causing her to urinate substantially, but she still does not need to go to the vet for the procedure. We have decided to take her at least monthly for check ups to be careful. But I'm still standing on the Word of God for a recreative miracle. The ironic thing is, God has done a huge work in me.  I am a totally vitamin, diet alternative advocate and did not advocate or believe in medicine or doctors. My whole outlook has changed, since if it weren't for the vet and drugs, she'd be dead instead being able to wait on God for the miracle! But stand I will. And He led me to a sister (you) who has an anointing to stand with me. Thank you so much again, for your time and caring. He gave a ministry for animals to a faithful person! We need you.  God is good! Pamela

Frances' cat, Malachi

This miracle healing was reported to us as follows:

I want to share with you about my little cat, Malachi, and his healing.  A few weeks ago, my husband was petting Malachi and he noticed a lump about the size of a small grape, on Malachi's side.  The next time I was at our wonderful vet, I asked him about it and he said more than likely, it was a cancer caused by an injection in that spot.  I have had Malachi only since early December, so I did not know what injections he might have had in that area before he came to us.  I always give injections in the hip area, because Dr. Gradous had told me a long time ago that if they are given in the neck or back area, it can cause problems.  I made an appointment to have this lump removed, but in the meantime, I had my daughter come over and we laid hands on Malachi and prayed that the lump would disappear and that Malachi would be totally healed.  About a week later, I noticed that the lump was smaller and at that point, I cancelled the appointment for surgery because I knew that God was healing him.  About a week after that, I felt and the lump was gone, so I handed Malachi to my husband (who is a skeptic as far as healing goes) and asked him if he felt the lump, and he said it was gone.  He knew that Julia and I had prayed for Malachi's healing, and he confirmed the results, so I believe that God is showing him that He does heal!

My prayer request is for a little 6 month old kitten that someone rescued, and contacted me about.  I brought him home.  He had been deliberately set on fire by a young man and his girlfriend, and he is burned in a triangle area from the middle of his back and spreading out in an upside down V to the bottom of his body and about 2 inches on his tail.  He is a beautiful, sweet little longhaired dark gray tabby, and I have named him Braveheart.  We have prayed that he won't have pain and I don't believe he is in much pain, because he eats well and has even gained weight in the two weeks that I have had him.  Also, he purrs and purrs when you pet him, and he loves to sit in my lap and be loved.  Our vet is a wonderful man and he thinks that Braveheart is going to have to have surgery to try and pull skin over this area.  My prayer request is that God would miraculously heal this burned area with new skin and fur so that little Braveheart won't have to have more surgery and pain.  Braveheart did not have to have the surgery!  Frances

Answered July 3, 2005

The veterinarian told me to put honey on his back every day and give him a strong antibiotic, which I did for several weeks.  Slowly he began to heal from the outside edges inward, and it has taken about 6 months for it to finally be totally healed.  He is really a gorgeous and sweet cat, and I don't think that he ever realized that someone did that to him on purpose.   Braveheart will, of course, remain with us here at my home.  He has been here the whole time, and for the first few weeks he had to live in my bathroom (it has a window in it thank goodness, so he could see the outside) because I didn't want any of the other cats to hurt his back, and also because honey is very sticky!  I am so very thankful that God healed him and restored all of his fur too!   Frances

I would so much appreciate it if you could say a special prayer for my dog, Fred.  Last week we went to see the doctor about a wart on Fred's nose, and he happened to notice that Fred has a pendulous belly.  He told us he was afraid Fred might have Cushings Disease.  He ran a blood test and Fred's number was high so tomorrow he is going to do a special test which will determine if Fred has Pituitary Dependant Cushings.   Niki, I've been anointing Fred with oil each day, and saying his prayers and I am trusting God for a miracle.  I would so much appreciate it if you could pray for Fred, too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Annie

Niki, PRAISE GOD, Fred's tests came back negative! Our vet said that Fred's high cortisol levels could be a result of having tartar on his teeth since he is 11 years old now.  I thank you so much for your prayers for Fred.  I know in my heart that is what changed Fred's outcome!  Annie

Please pray for Ajax, our 7 year old bengal cat who has been exceptionally well-cared-for his whole life and he IS our life, along with our other cat and dog.  He became acutely ill this past Christmas eve and has become ill about every 3 days with vomiting, heat seeking, and feeling horrible.  His first labs revealed very elevated liver enzymes.  He then had x-rays, ultrasounds, labs, and a subsequent spleen biopsy for an enlarged spleen noted on the ultrasound.  The biopsy of the spleen was negative for lymphoma but the doctor still thinks there may be lymphoma, and wants to subject Ajax to an exploratory surgery to biopsy "everything."  We WILL NOT put Ajax through this after he was terrorized for 3 1/2 hours for the previous testing  with no anesthesia.  He is still jumpy almost 2 weeks later.  We hope that between our prayers and yours that his liver enzymes will come down to normal, and that he will get back to his normal health.  Please pray for him as we will pray for the other animals mentioned here.  Thanks, Chris

Answered February 26, 2005

Thanks so very much for all your prayers for Ajax.  He has not been ill for almost a month now and it is only God's healing hands - there has been no intervention from any vets or any medication.  We know this is a miracle from God and very much appreciate the prayers - THANKS!!!!  Chris

I hope you will take a moment to include my beloved cat, Max, in your prayers. He is sick with feline triaditis (cholangiohepatitis, pancreatitis, and irritable bowel disease) which is affecting his whole digestive system with inflammation (especially in his pancreas). He also has a very serious heart murmur which makes anesthesia as a diagnostic or treatment option too dangerous to try, and limits our options to help him. He's been fighting for his life for a solid month, and we've been doing everything we can to help him, but we know that it is truly in God's hands.  S.J.

Answered, January  5, 2005

I thought you should know, Max has been doing SO MUCH better! I took him in to the doctor Monday, and he gave him a clean bill of health and was frankly surprised at his recovery.  Max was in such a terrible crisis on the 2nd of December that two doctors, including the one I saw last Monday, clearly stated that Max "would not recover."   S.J.

Please pray for Chris.  She has a polyp that must be surgically removed.  Pray that it won't be cancerous and everything will turn out well.

Answered, December 8, 2004

Her family has been fasting and praying and many other people have joined in to pray for her.  Today she went in for the surgery and even though they tried several times to find the polyp, there was none there!  They couldn't find and polyps to remove at all!  Thank you Lord!

Please pray for my mother who has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma  (NHL) which is treatable, but fast moving.

Answered, October, 2004

Her family has been fasting and praying and many, many people have been joining in to pray for her.  After 3 chemo treatments my mother had another scan.  Today the doctor telephoned her to tell her that her scan looked very good.  He said it all looked cleared up, and what they believe they can still see looks like scar tissue.  He wants her to have another 3 chemo treatments and finish the medical program.  Then they will do another scan.   Praise God for answered prayer!  This is a great, big victory!  Niki

Update, October, 2005

I wanted to let everyone know that my mother had another scan, and she is still healed today!  Praise God!  In fact, she just came back from a trip with my sister touring Italy!

Could you please pray for Cosmo.   He is undergoing surgery for a liver biopsy and a growth in his stomach.  His liver enzymes are off the charts and he is not eating well and losing weight.  He belongs to my daughter and he is her best friend.  He has a heart problem also.   His surgery is planned for between 11 am and 1 pm.  He needs all the prayers and love that can be sent his way.   Barb

Answered, August 28, 2004

Cosmo’s surgery went well.  Also, he’s eating a dog food that is very good for him.  He had refused to eat it before.  Thank you so much for your prayers.  Barb

My friend, Gail, has lost her ferret, Zoom.  He must have got out of the house and she can't find him.  She could use prayers for him to come back safely too. Thank you so much. Barb

Answer, August 28, 2004

Gail found Zoom in her living room this a.m.  He is fine and she is very happy to have him home.  Thanks, Barb.

Request, September 3, 2004

Please pray for Max.  Recently he has been throwing up, I took him to the vet today and she felt of his tummy and kidneys. She said she felt a mass which could be his kidney enlarged or it was a tumor. I know his kidneys are a little bigger as that is what the vet has said in the past. And he has to watch his diet, he is eating less protein.   Lisa

Answered, September 13, 2004

Thanks for all the prayers, Max is home with me and he seems to be doing well, his blood work came back good.  My original vet (of over 25 years!) said he didn't think it necessary to have him have more tests right now, that he had felt his tummy and it was his kidney not a mass.   Lisa

My cat Midnight's health is failing him.  He has a very strong spirit and wants to tough it out.  He only has 10% of his one kidney left (the other one is gone) and he is extremely skinny (he is only 8 lbs from the 14 that he used to be). I give him fluids every day and try to keep him as comfortable (with a lot of soft warm places to sleep on) as possible. But he is literally shrinking in front of my eyes and although he goes about his routine every day, he does have some very bad days that really sadden me as I am confronted with the possibility of losing him.   Nadine

Answered Prayer, December 19, 2003

My lovely cat Midnight "somehow" got a second wind and although he still has kidney disease and is very thin, he gained a new motivation to keep on going....he is doing wonderfully well given the fact that he only has 10% of his kidneys functioning. I marvel every day at how he carries on, making sure he remains a big part of my little animal family.  Thank you for the bottom of my heart for including midnight in your prayers!!!!! About two weeks after I contacted you, he just bounced back and has been a cranky, 18-year old ever since who purrs like a lion when I hold him in my arms. I will be forever grateful. Thank you.

Nadine

My prayer request is for my squirrel, Pepper.  She is 10 1/2 years old and has been very sick.  She lives inside.  I thought she had an ear infection.  She holds her head to one side and seems to be off balance when climbing.  Kathy

Answered Prayer, October 6, 2003

God bless you!!  My squirrel is doing much better.  The vet gave her an antibiotic shot Saturday.   Kathy

God answered our prayers.  Thank you so much for your help.  Pepper is doing fine! Kathy

There is something wrong with one of my Mother's dogs, 13 year old Oscar. They did many tests and found out it is a heart problem.  He is doing slightly better now but please pray for his speedy recovery, and that they can find the right medication for him.

Also, my mother's 12 year old dog, Frankie, has not been eating so she took him to the vet.  He said it was his tooth and gave him meds. She came home a while later and found him in a pool of blood. Now after doing major tests they cannot figure out what is wrong with him.  He is still vomiting blood and there is blood in his stool, as well.  He is at a 24hour emergency vet, I think the best in town.  Please pray for Frankie, that God will heal him, and guide the vets to figure out what is wrong with him.

Oscar and Frankie are dachshunds that are best friends.

Kellie for her Mom, Carolyn

Answered Prayer, October 6, 2003

I am happy to report that both dogs, Frankie and Oscar, are doing very well and are expected to recover fully!   Thank you so very much for all the prayers.  It is very comforting to know that so many people care, and I know that the prayers helped!    Thank you, Gratefully, Carolyn, Kellie's Mom.

A cat named Nora just went into the hospital with possible liver failure, and she has been diagnosed with kidney failure.

Answered Prayer, August  27, 2003

So, "miraculously" her lab tests today look like they belong to a different cat and they said that she's a feisty ball of energy.  Pretty remarkable!  She'll probably come home tomorrow, but we're going to look at putting in a GIF to give fluids since she fights the sub qs so much.  Today it's looking more like pancreatitis, but her liver enzymes are fine, her kidney enzymes are fine, no protein in her urine with a bit of an infection.  Only a miracle can really explain it, because there are enough similarities (plus how she looked) to make us not think lab error.  Now if we can just get her to eat.

Thank you so-o much for the prayers.  Kari

Answered Prayer, August  29, 2003

Well, for anyone who doesn't believe in miracles.....Nora's home and bouncing around.  She just got done eating.  No one at my vet's office can believe it!  She went from darn near comatose to great overnight and has stayed that way!  Her lab tests are still  great!  Virtually everything within normal limits.  She'll be on antibiotics and some periactin for her appetite, and, of course, fluids twice a week.  Her kidney enzymes, however, are absolutely perfect.  They think it's low grade pancreatitis and a miracle.  Kari

Please allow me to submit a request for prayer for my rescued baby pigeon, Lindsey. She has a fractured right leg tibia bone. She saw a doctor recently who splinted the bone, but her foot turned a dark color and her foot was cold, indicating a lack of circulation. The splint was removed immediately. Please ask for her leg to heal completely and be strong without the use of a splint.     Thank you so much,  Kim

Answered Prayer, July 13, 2003

I recently took Lindsey to a veterinarian to get x-rays of her condition for my local chiropractor to see. He thought he might be able to help her, depending on what the x-rays showed. He saw them and determined that MAYBE there was a dislocation of the hip joint (although the vet said probably not) and he used the instrument that puts bones back into place on her. Can't remember the name of it. He "unwound" it in her case, being a small pigeon, and used it on her "hip" joint areas. The VERY NEXT DAY, she was standing for LONG periods of time!! Her hip joint is still not in the right spot. This may be due to a tendon, ligament, or soft tissue tear near that bone.  I will tell the vet what happened so this will not happen with another bird. The vet nor I predicted what may happen with the splint in place. Now we know!!    Kim

Heal my mother’s foot that was hurt when she fell today.  She was in pain and was having a difficult time walking.  Niki Shanahan

Called my mother and she is 100% better today.  I’ve checked with her in the following days, and she is in no pain and can walk on her foot perfectly.  Niki Shanahan
